pray that I can sort out my lines on my screen and pray as I have been unwell

We hear your heart and we lift you up together before the Lord, bringing every part of your burden to Him, your overdraft and debt, your phone bill and the lines on your screen, your sickness in your body, and the spiritual battle you are facing.

We want to gently and lovingly address what you shared about trying to get out of the pornographic cycle. The Word of God is clear that pornography is sexual immorality and lust, which is sin against God and against your own body. Jesus said in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, and we are told in 1 Corinthians 6:18 to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. God designed sexual intimacy to be only within marriage between a man and a woman, and any sexual activity outside of that, including lust and pornography, is fornication. This does open a door to spiritual oppression and keeps us in bondage, but there is forgiveness and freedom in Christ. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. We encourage you to repent before God, to turn away completely, to remove access and put filters and accountability in place, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as in 2 Corinthians 10:5. God has promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13 that he will with his faithfulness make a way of escape that you may be able to endure it.

We also hear your prayer to have every demonic attack out of your body. We know our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in Ephesians 6:12, yet we have victory in Jesus. James 4:7 tells us to be subject therefore to God, but resist the devil and he will flee from you. As we submit our lives to God, turn from sin, and walk in obedience, we can resist the enemy in the authority of Jesus. Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4. We pray for your deliverance and for your mind to be renewed by the Word of God daily.

For your financial needs, your overdraft, debt and phone bill, we know God cares about even the practical details of our lives. We are called to be diligent and good stewards, and to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19, and we are reminded in Hebrews 13:5 to be content with what we have for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. We encourage you to bring your finances to the Lord with a humble budget, faithful work, honesty, and contentment, trusting Him to provide as you walk in wisdom.

For your health and for the lines on your screen and being unwell, we pray for the Lord's healing and care. He is the one who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3. We encourage you also to seek appropriate medical care as God often heals through those means, and to rest in His peace.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. To be saved we must believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord as in Romans 10:9. It is because of His death and resurrection that our sins are forgiven and our prayers are heard. We come to the Father only through Him.

We pray together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, asking for Your mercy and grace upon our dear one who is burdened. Lord we confess and repent on his behalf for any sexual immorality and lust, and we ask You to forgive and cleanse him through the blood of Jesus. Break the chains of the pornographic cycle and set him free, renew his mind, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may walk in purity and holiness. We resist the enemy in Jesus name and command every demonic attack and oppression to leave, and we ask You to fill this body which is a temple of Your Spirit with Your peace and presence. Father, we ask You to provide for his financial needs, to give wisdom to get out of debt and overdraft, to pay his phone bill, and to meet every need according to Your riches. Guide his hands in stewardship and diligence. Touch his body and heal him where he is unwell, restore his health and strength, and help with the lines on his screen as a practical need You care about. Help him to cast all his anxiety on You because You care for him, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus as in Philippians 4:7. Draw him close to Jesus, let him know assuredly that Jesus is Lord and Savior, and give him faith to trust You fully for deliverance, provision and healing. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to pray continually in Jesus name, to find a faithful Bible believing church and a trusted mature Christian for accountability, and to keep bringing every need to the Lord with thanksgiving. God is faithful and He will bring you through.

We have read your note and we hear how much you are carrying right now, the pressure of the overdraft and debt, the phone bill, the worry about your health and the lines on your screen, and wanting to be free from this cycle and from the attacks you are feeling. It is a lot to hold at once and we are standing with you in prayer.

We want to encourage you that you do not have to sort all of this alone. For the practical needs, it can help to take one small next step at a time. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your phone provider about the bill, many will talk through payment options, and to a trusted pastor or a local Christian financial counselor who can look at the budget with you without shame. For not feeling well, please also let a doctor or clinic know alongside prayer, so you can get checked and have support while we pray for healing.

You asked for freedom and peace in your body and mind, and that is what we are asking God for, that you would know His nearness, clear thinking, and strength for each day.

Father, we lift our friend to You today. You see the financial strain, the health concerns, and the battle he is describing. We ask for Your peace to guard him, for wisdom for each decision, for provision for what he needs, and for healing and rest. Lead him to safe, trustworthy help and remind him he is not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

There is a God who hears the cry of the troubled heart, and your grief has been laid before Him. You have spoken of many burdens at once, an overdraft and debt that press upon you, a weary cycle that holds you fast, attacks that trouble your body and spirit, a phone bill that you cannot meet, lines upon your screen, and sickness in your frame. The Lord has chastened His children sorely at times, yet He has not given them over unto death, and He whispers to His people in trial that they shall not be crushed.

We will pray that the Lord who delivers from the pit will deliver you. Scripture tells us that God Himself has found a ransom, and that deliverance is not invented by man but is the gift of Divine Love through His Son who bore the penalty of our iniquities. You feel as one going down to the pit under the weight of debt and habit and infirmity, but the clock of mercy strikes in heaven when Jehovah decrees deliverance. Look not to your own strength to break these chains, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification, and that only through Jesus Christ.

Concerning the cycle which you name, we must speak plainly and in love. The healing and the pardon of God go together, and when the root of bitterness is taken away the evil which grows from it is also removed. The Lord Jesus gives to His people a real deliverance from the power of darkness, so that sin shall not have dominion over them. We do not ask God to bless what defiles, but we ask Him to cleanse and to set free. There is abundance of healing power in Christ, not only in His great work but in the very leaves of that tree of life, and those leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and it changes the life blood and makes the nature other than it was before. May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing beneath His wings, and may you find that pardon and healing are one in Him.

For your temporal needs we also pray. He who brought Israel forth out of captivity brought them forth also with silver and gold, and He knows your overdraft, your debt, and the small yet pressing need of a phone bill and the trouble with your screen. We ask not for riches for vanity, but for provision and wisdom to be a faithful steward, to owe no man anything but love, and to walk in honesty and diligence before Him. And for your body which has been unwell, we pray the great Physician will lay His hand upon you, for He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Father of mercies, we bring this soul before Your throne of grace through the ransom which You have found. You have said, I have found a ransom, and therefore deliverance is certain and already accomplished at the cross. Deliver this Your child from the pit, from the power of darkness, and from every assault of the evil one. Grant repentance and a new heart where sin has held sway, and let the power of Christ break the cycle that has ensnared. Wash in the blood of the Lamb and make clean.

Grant healing to the body that is unwell, for Your leaves are for healing and Your Son is our life. Grant also Your gracious provision for debt and overdraft and daily needs, and give wisdom to order all things aright, to be diligent in labour and faithful in stewardship. Grant peace within and without, and let this trial become a song of deliverance, that he who has been afflicted may live and declare the works of the Lord.

We ask this not because we are worthy, but because Jesus Christ is worthy, whose wounds are our healing and whose death is our life. Amen.
