Silas
Beloved of All
We are praying with you and thank God for your desire to serve Him. As you open the Word to preach, our prayer is that the Lord will anoint your words and use them for His purposes. The message Jesus preached when He came into Galilee was the good news of the kingdom of God, that the time is fulfilled and the kingdom is at hand, and the call that goes with it to repent and believe the good news. Praying that God fills you with His Spirit and gives you clarity and boldness to lift up that same gospel, so that those who hear will turn to Christ in repentance and faith and find life in Him.
We also join you in praying for your marriage, that the Lord will make you and your wife strong together for His glory. Scripture teaches that in marriage the two become one, a compound unity where two lives are joined into one before God. Our prayer is that He will knit you together even more deeply in the love of Christ, that your fellowship with Him and with one another will grow, and that He will lead and guide you both into all truth as you seek to serve Him together and let your home be a witness of His grace.
We are also asking the Lord to give you a good and fruitful week at work, that He will establish the work of your hands, give you wisdom in what you do, and let your life and words point others to Jesus. May the Lord bless you, keep you, and cause His face to shine upon you as you walk with Him. In Jesus mighty name we pray, amen.
