Lord I ask for comfort. I ask you help with my family and just give them comfort. I ask you help my son there’s some kids that aren’t nice to him. Help him to make friends and the right kinds of friends. I ask you help me with work and just watch over all of us tomorrow (me, my husband, and my son) as we go about our day tomorrow.

We join with you in bringing your family before the Lord and we thank you for sharing this need with us. We hear your heart for comfort and peace for your household, for your son who is facing unkind treatment, and for strength and protection for you, your husband, and your son as you go about your day tomorrow. God sees and cares deeply for each of you and for the unity of your marriage and family.

The Lord is our true source of comfort. We are reminded that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction 2 Corinthians 1:3-4. We also take comfort in His promise that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, our requests should be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We lift up your son with you. It is painful to see a child treated unkindly, and we pray the Lord will guard his heart and surround him with the right kinds of friends. Scripture teaches us that he who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm Proverbs 13:20 and that evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33. We pray for wisdom for your son to choose friends who will encourage him in what is good and true, and for courage to show kindness even to those who are not nice to him, as Jesus taught us to love our enemies and pray for those who mistreat us Matthew 5:44. We also pray for you as his parents to have wisdom to guide and comfort him and to help him grow in confidence in who God made him to be.

We also bring your work and your coming day before the Lord. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray He will give you strength, peace, and favor in your work and that He will watch over all three of you. We trust His promise that Yahweh will keep you from all evil, He will keep your soul, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. When we trust in Yahweh with all our heart and do not lean on our own understanding, He will direct our paths Proverbs 3:5-6.

We notice your prayer was offered to the Lord but did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently encourage you about this because it is so important. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we have access to God and the assurance of His comfort and salvation. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. We encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus and to come to the Father in His name.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this wife and mother, for her husband, and for their son. We ask You to pour out Your comfort and peace upon this family and to let them feel Your nearness. Lord, we lift up their son to You, protect his heart from hurt, heal any wounds from unkind words or actions, and lead him to faithful, godly friends who will build him up and walk with him in wisdom. Give his parents discernment to guide him with love and truth. Father, we ask You to help our sister in her work, give her strength and grace for each task, and watch over her, her husband, and her son tomorrow in all their going out and coming in, keep them safe from harm and draw them closer to You and to one another. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, our comfort and our hope, amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Keep praying together as a family, keep speaking truth and encouragement over your son, and trust that the Lord who loves you is watching over every step you take tomorrow.

It is so hard as a parent to watch your son be treated unkindly and not be able to fix it for him. Your prayer for him to find the right kind of friends is a good one. Those friendships often grow slowly through shared time and common interests, whether in his class, a team, or a church group where he can be known a little at a time and show kindness in return.

A simple step that may help this week is to take a few unhurried minutes with your son and ask what the hard moments at school look like for him and what a good friend feels like to him, then pray together for the day ahead. Listening in that way helps him feel less alone and gives you a clearer picture to pray from. If the unkindness continues, a quiet check-in with his teacher can also give you another caring set of eyes on his day. For work, we join you in asking for steadiness to do the next faithful thing in front of you and to rest in God's watch over you all.

Father, we bring this mom, her husband and their son to you and ask for your nearness and comfort tonight. Watch over each of them tomorrow at home, at work and at school. Encourage this boy, protect his heart from unkind words, and lead him to friendships that are kind and true. Give his parents wisdom, peace and strength for what the day brings. Keep this family in your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we bring it before the throne of grace with you. The Lord saith, Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, and He delights to comfort the aching heart of His child. When He would comfort us, He often does it not by a mere word alone, but by quickening us by His Word, so that the soul is revived and made to swim through seas of trouble without fear.

We pray that the God of all comfort will draw near to your family and cause His peace to rest upon your home. May He that keepeth Israel, who neither slumbers nor sleeps, keep you night and day and cause His river of grace to roll on with undiminished fullness in your household.

For your son, we ask the Lord to be his shield and his friend. When unkind words and deeds wound him, may he know that there is a Friend who sticketh closer than a brother, and may the Lord guide him to companions who love what Christ loves and shun what Christ shuns, plain and holy friendships that will help him walk in every good word and work. May the Lord give him favor and constancy, and may he learn to be deferential and tender toward his heavenly Father, fearing only to grieve Him.

For your work, we pray you may be enabled to say, Jehovah Jireh, my God will provide, and to put your business into His hands, going to your daily labor as the little bird that sitteth upon the spray and singeth, trusting its Father for its bread. Whatever labor and sore travail attends your calling, remember that neither goodness nor greatness can keep us from affliction, but His Word quickeneth us even there, and that is a wellspring of comfort.

And for tomorrow, for you and your husband and your son as you go about your day, we entreat the Lord to watch over you, to establish your hearts and to comfort you, to go before you and to keep you from all harm, and to bring you home again in peace. May you lie down as a child upon its mother's breast and sleep securely, for the Lord Himself watcheth over His own.

We will continue to pray that you may find in the everlasting gospel a comfort that abides, not for a moment only, but that establishes you in faith and love until you see His face.

Your prayer for comfort has been heard and we join you in bringing your family before the Lord who is the God of all comfort.

We pray that He will surround you, your husband, and your son with His peace, and that you will know His presence in your home and in each of your hearts. When we love one another as members of one body, that love holds us together and strengthens us, and we ask God to deepen that love among you so that you may support and encourage one another each day.

For your son, we pray with special care. It is painful when children are unkind, and we ask the Lord to guard his heart, to give him resilience and gentleness, and to lead him to friendships that are built on what is good and lasting. True friendship is not found in simply eating and drinking together or in being together for convenience, but in helping one another toward what is good and in sharing a love for God. As Scripture says, a brother helped by a brother becomes like a fortified city. We pray that God will bring into your son's life friends who love virtue and who will remain faithful through every change, friends who will help him walk in the right way and whom he can help in return, and that He will give you wisdom to guide him toward those relationships.

We also lift up your work and your day tomorrow. We ask the Lord to watch over you, your husband, and your son as you go out and come in, to give you strength and clarity in your work, and to keep you all in safety under His care. May He provide what you need for each task and give you rest in knowing that He is with you.

May the Lord comfort you, establish your household in His love, and let His peace rule in your hearts as you trust Him day by day. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our salvation. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing prayer for you and your family. It is good to bring these burdens directly to the Lord, because He hears and He cares for each of you.

Scripture describes God as the God of all comfort. He is the One who comforts those who mourn and those who are cast down, discouraged and heavy hearted. When we go through dark hours and difficult situations, He does not leave us alone. He stands by to comfort, to strengthen and to encourage. That is my prayer for you and your household, that you would sense His nearness and His peace resting on your home, calming anxious thoughts and giving you quiet confidence in His care.

I have prayed for your son. It is painful to watch a child face unkindness from other children. Ask the Lord to surround him with the right kind of friends, companions who are kind, respectful and who will encourage him in what is good. Pray also that God will give him courage and wisdom to walk in integrity, to be a good friend himself, and to know that his worth is secure in Christ even when others are not nice. God has placed love for our children deep in our hearts, and He loves them even more. He sees your son, knows his needs, and is able to guide his steps and his friendships.

I have also prayed for you in your work, that the Lord would give you strength, wisdom and grace for what is before you, and that He would watch over you, your husband and your son as you go about your day tomorrow. May He keep you in safety, lead you in each decision, and let His comfort and presence be evident to each of you.

May the Lord continue to draw your whole family closer to Himself and to one another. Cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and trust in Jesus Christ who is our peace and our hope. I ask this in the name of Jesus, that He would fill your home with His comfort, His protection and His joy.
