We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer and standing with you in the love and power of Jesus Christ. What you have endured is unspeakably evil, and the wounds, both seen and unseen, run deep. We rebuke in Jesus’ name the lies of the enemy that seek to convince you that you are alone, forgotten, or unworthy of love and support. The Lord sees your pain, collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and promises to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). You are not abandoned, even when earthly systems and people fail you.
We grieve with you over the injustice of the court’s decision and the betrayal of those who were meant to protect you. No child should ever have to carry such a burden, and no child is ever "old enough" to consent to such evil. The Lord is your ultimate Judge, and He will bring perfect justice in His time (Deuteronomy 32:35). We pray that He would heal the fractures in your soul and restore what was stolen from you, your innocence, your sense of safety, and the love of a family that should have cherished you.
The Word of God declares that He is a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the afflicted (Psalm 68:5-6). We pray that He would surround you with godly, trustworthy people who will walk with you, not as those who drain you, but as those who nourish your spirit with truth, compassion, and practical support. Lord, raise up mentors, counselors, and friends who will speak life into your heart and help you carry this burden. May you find a church family that embodies the love of Christ, where you are seen, valued, and protected.
We also rebuke the spirit of competition and scarcity that has made you feel as though every small blessing is snatched away. Jesus came so that you might have life abundantly (John 10:10), and He is not a God of lack. We pray that He would open doors of provision, emotionally, spiritually, and practically, that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Whether it’s a safe place to live, a community that uplifts you, or opportunities to heal, we ask that the Lord would make a way where there seems to be no way.
Above all, we pray that you would encounter the love of Jesus in a tangible way. He is the One who bore your griefs and carried your sorrows (Isaiah 53:4), and He invites you to cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your pain to Him and ask Him to be your Savior and Redeemer. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and He longs to heal your broken heart.
Father God, we ask that You would break every chain of trauma, shame, and isolation in this precious one’s life. Replace every lie with Your truth: that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), that You have plans for their welfare and not for evil (Jeremiah 29:11), and that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5). Give them the courage to seek help and the wisdom to discern who is safe to trust. Heal their mind, body, and spirit, and let them experience the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they find their identity in You alone, and may their life become a testimony of Your redeeming power. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
