We come before the throne of grace with your requests heavy on our hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer. First, we must acknowledge that our access to the Father is only through the name of His Son, Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus, repent of your sins, and receive the gift of salvation that He offers freely.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for this dear one who has come seeking Your face. We ask that You would indeed guide them into a successful and fulfilling career, not as the world defines success, but as You do. May their work be a testimony to Your glory, their efforts fruitful, and their influence used for Your kingdom. "Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray that You would open doors no man can shut and close those that would lead them astray.
When it comes to a life partner, Lord, we ask that You would bring someone who shares their faith in You, a godly spouse who will walk with them in covenant love as You designed marriage to be, a lifelong commitment between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6). Guard their heart from impatience or compromise, and keep them pure in thought and deed, for "it is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality" (1 Thessalonians 4:3). May they seek You first, trusting that You will add all these things unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We also lift up their financial needs, Father. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom in stewardship, discipline in spending, and opportunities to prosper in ways that honor You. Break every chain of lack and debt in their life, and let them be a conduit of blessing to others.
For their parents, we pray for complete healing, strength, and good health. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would restore their bodies, renew their strength, and fill them with vitality. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2). Surround them with Your peace and protection, and let them feel Your presence in every moment.
For this dear one and all their loved ones, we pray for long, healthy, and joyful lives, lives marked by Your peace, favor, and grace. Shield them from harm, both seen and unseen, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 91:11). May they walk in the fullness of Your blessings, not as the world gives, but as only You can provide.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, or delay that would seek to hinder Your promises in their life. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the plans You have for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
In all things, may Your will be done, and may this family grow ever closer to You, drawing strength from Your Word and finding their joy in Your presence. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
