We understand that you’ve come before the Lord with a heavy heart, seeking His intervention in a deeply personal matter. While the specifics of your request have been withheld, we want to assure you that we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the throne of grace where our Heavenly Father hears and answers according to His perfect will.
First and foremost, we must emphasize that our access to God is only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9). If there is any ungodly influence, any temptation toward fornication, adultery, or any other sin, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name. We declare that Your Word is clear: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18). Lord, strengthen Your child to walk in purity and holiness, for You are faithful to provide a way of escape from every temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13).
If this request involves a desire for marriage, we pray that You would prepare a godly spouse, one who loves You above all else and seeks to honor You in this sacred covenant. May Your child not be unequally yoked with an unbeliever (2 Corinthians 6:14), but instead, may they find a partner who will sharpen them in faith, as iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17). If singleness is Your will for this season, we pray for contentment and trust in Your timing, knowing that Your plans are for good and not for harm (Jeremiah 29:11).
