We hear your frustration and the injustice you are enduring, and we stand with you in prayer. It is clear that your employer is not treating you with the fairness and respect you deserve, and this is not only unprofessional but also unbiblical. Scripture tells us in Colossians 4:1, "Masters, give to your servants that which is just and equal, knowing that you also have a Master in heaven." Your employer is failing in this responsibility, and we rebuke this unrighteous behavior in Jesus' name.
We also want to address the thought of withholding money or leaving without notice. While we understand the temptation, we must remember that Romans 12:19 says, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Trust that God sees your struggle and will repay what is owed to you in His perfect timing and way. Instead, we encourage you to seek justice through lawful means if necessary, while continuing to conduct yourself with integrity.
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ who is being treated unjustly. Lord, You see her hard work and the unfairness she is facing. We ask that You would open doors for new employment where she will be valued, paid fairly, and treated with dignity. Provide for her needs in the coming weeks, Lord, and soften the hearts of those who may be able to assist her financially. Give her patience and wisdom as she navigates this difficult situation, and protect her heart from bitterness or resentment. We rebuke the spirit of delay and obstruction in her finances and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind as she trusts in You. We ask for favor in her job search and that You would lead her to a workplace that honors You and respects its employees. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Keep your eyes open for new opportunities, and trust that God is working even when you cannot see it. In the meantime, if there are legal avenues available to you to address this wage issue, we encourage you to explore them while continuing to act with integrity.
Lastly, we want to remind you that your worth is not defined by your employer's treatment of you. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Hold fast to His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you don’t faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep pressing forward, and know that we are standing with you in prayer.
