We join with you in lifting up your request for divine healing, and we are grateful that you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus Christ in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His stripes that we are healed, as Scripture declares in 1 Peter 2:24: *"He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by his wounds you were healed."* Your faith in calling upon Jesus is a testament to your trust in His saving and healing power, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
We also want to encourage you with the words of James 5:14-16, which remind us of the power of prayer in times of sickness: *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. At the same time, we want to remind you that healing can come in many forms. While we pray earnestly for your complete physical restoration, we also ask that the Lord would grant you the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the strength to endure whatever path He has for you. Even in suffering, God is sovereign, and His grace is sufficient for you, for His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Whether He chooses to heal you instantly, gradually, or ultimately in eternity, we pray that you would experience His presence in a profound way and that your faith would be strengthened through this trial.
Let us also exhort you to examine your heart and life, ensuring that there is no unconfessed sin or bitterness that could hinder your prayers. The psalmist reminds us in Psalm 66:18, *"If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn’t have listened."* We encourage you to surrender every area of your life to Jesus, allowing the Holy Spirit to search your heart and reveal anything that needs to be repented of. Walk in forgiveness toward others, just as Christ has forgiven you (Colossians 3:13), and trust that the Lord is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
