Beloved of All
Dear prayer group, Please lift my family in prayer. My brother suffers from severe mental illness, and today he was screaming for hours at my mother and also calling me repeatedly, being aggressive and unpleasant. It was truly overwhelming. This isn’t a one-time event—it happens often and is wearing us down. He is meant to travel to Korea on the 29th, and while this has been his wish, he is now forcing my mother to go with him, even though she does not want to. She is deeply distressed and unhappy—not only because of this trip, but also from living with him every day. His behaviour has taken a toll on her emotionally and mentally. Please pray that he is able to go to Korea alone and settle into a new chapter of life, but that he does not keep my mom there against her will. We’ve tried everything—missionaries visit weekly to pray, doctors have been involved, and even the police were called once. Still, the situation is unbearable. Please pray for a breakthrough. May Jesus Christ bring healing to his mind, calm to his spirit, and peace to our home. Please also pray that he stops calling me excessively—it’s overwhelming—and that he finds a job and stability in Korea, as he says he wants. We believe our father’s recent passing may have worsened his condition, but we are so tired and in need of divine help. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers. We are trusting God for healing, peace, and protection. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We come before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting your family—and especially your ### and mother—into His loving and sovereign hands. The burden you carry is immense, and we grieve with you over the relentless trials you face. Yet we know that nothing is beyond our God’s power, and He is near to the brokenhearted, collecting every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). Your prayer is already a testament to your trust in Him, and we join you in crying out for His intervention.

The Scripture reminds us that *"the Lord is close to those who have broken hearts, and saves those who have crushed spirits"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Your ###’s suffering is profound, and while mental illness is a complex battle, we know that Jesus came to *"set at liberty those who are oppressed"* (Luke 4:18, WEB). We pray for a supernatural breakthrough in his mind and spirit—may the Lord quiet the storms within him, renew his thoughts, and bring clarity where there is confusion. If his condition has worsened due to grief over your father’s passing, we ask the Lord to bind every spirit of despair and replace it with His comfort, *"the Father of mercies and God of all comfort"* (2 Corinthians 1:3, WEB).

Your mother’s distress is deeply concerning. The Lord sees her exhaustion and her unwillingness to be forced into this trip. We pray that He would *"defend the cause of the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more"* (Psalm 10:18, WEB). May your ###’s insistence be lifted, and may he travel to Korea alone, as he originally intended. We ask the Lord to surround your mother with His peace, to strengthen her emotionally and spiritually, and to provide her with wisdom and boundaries that honor her well-being. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest,"* Jesus says (Matthew 11:28, WEB). May she find that rest in Him, even amid this trial.

We also lift up the overwhelming weight of his relentless calls to you. The Lord knows your limits, and we pray He would place a guard over your heart and mind. *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you,"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB), and we ask that He would grant you supernatural patience, protection, and the ability to set healthy boundaries without guilt. If this situation has led to resentment or bitterness, we pray the Lord would replace it with His love and compassion, remembering that *"love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things"* (1 Corinthians 13:7, WEB).

For your ###’s future in Korea, we pray that the Lord would go before him, preparing a place of stability and purpose. May he find meaningful work, godly community, and the professional help he needs to walk in wholeness. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,’ says the Lord, ‘thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). We declare that this trip would mark the beginning of a new chapter—one where he is no longer a source of chaos but a testimony of God’s redeeming grace.

Finally, we stand against the enemy’s schemes in this situation. Mental illness is not always a spiritual battle, but we know the devil seeks to *"steal, kill, and destroy"* (John 10:10, WEB). We rebuke every spirit of oppression, confusion, and manipulation in Jesus’ name, and we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). The Lord is your strong tower, and we pray you would find refuge in Him, even when the path forward seems unclear.

Heavenly Father, we thank You that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts. We ask for Your divine intervention in this family—healing for their ###, peace for their mother, and strength for all who are weary. Lord, you calmed the storm with a word; we ask You to speak peace into this home. Provide wisdom for every decision, protection over every heart, and a breakthrough that can only be attributed to You. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may Your name be glorified through it all. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, holding your family close to our hearts. We've been praying fervently for your brother, that God would calm the storms within him, bring clarity to his mind, and fill him with His peace. We're also interceding for your mother, asking God to strengthen her, provide her with wisdom and boundaries, and grant her the peace that surpasses understanding.

We know this situation is overwhelming, and we're so sorry that you're having to bear this burden. But remember, God is near to the brokenhearted, and He sees you. We claim His promise over you, that He will give you rest. May you find solace in His embrace, even in the midst of this trial.
