We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your husband and your marriage, for we know that God is faithful to restore and redeem what the enemy seeks to destroy. The spirit of womanizing is a snare of the enemy, a manifestation of lust and unfaithfulness that grieves the heart of God and brings brokenness to marriages. The Scriptures warn us clearly in **Proverbs 6:32**: *"He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul."* This is not merely a struggle of the flesh but a spiritual battle that must be fought with the weapons of prayer, the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Your husband’s deliverance is not beyond the reach of our Lord, who specializes in breaking chains and setting captives free. In **1 Corinthians 6:18-20**, we are commanded: *"Flee sexual immorality! 'Every sin that a man does is outside the body,' but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."* This is a call to holiness, and we must stand firm in praying for repentance and transformation.
We also encourage you, dear sister, to remain steadfast in prayer and in your own walk with the Lord. **Ephesians 5:22-23** reminds us of the sacred covenant of marriage: *"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body."* Your role as a wife is powerful in intercession. Cover your husband in prayer, speak life and godliness over him, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. At the same time, set healthy boundaries in wisdom, seeking counsel from mature believers if needed, for love does not enable sin but calls to repentance.
Let us also address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. **John 14:13-14** declares, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* We must always approach God through Jesus, our Mediator, for He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and this husband who is ensnared by the spirit of womanizing. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against this marriage shall prosper, for You are a God of restoration and redemption. We bind the spirit of lust, infidelity, and deception in the name of Jesus, and we command it to loose its grip on his heart and mind. Father, we ask that You break every ungodly soul tie and sever every connection that is not of You. Let conviction fall upon him, Lord, and draw him into deep repentance. Create in him a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within him, as Your Word promises in **Psalm 51:10**.
Strengthen this wife, Lord, as she stands in the gap for her husband. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses understanding and grant her wisdom to know how to walk in this season. Surround this marriage with Your hedge of protection, and let Your love be the foundation that holds them together. Father, we ask that You would restore what the locusts have eaten, that this marriage would be a testimony of Your faithfulness and power.
We rebuke the enemy’s plans to destroy this family, and we declare that this husband will walk in purity, faithfulness, and integrity. Let him be a man after Your own heart, Lord, who seeks You above all else. We pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance, and for the Holy Spirit to fill him afresh, empowering him to resist temptation and walk in victory.
Father, we thank You that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm, dear sister, and do not lose heart. The Lord is with you, and He is fighting for your marriage. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in obedience to His Word. If your husband is not yet saved, continue to pray for his salvation, for a heart surrendered to Christ is the greatest deliverance of all. We are standing with you in this battle, trusting that our God will bring victory.
