Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Please join me in praying for my brother, who is struggling with serious mental illness. He often yells at my mother, and it has been very distressing for her. Today he won’t stop screaming. I ask in the name of Jesus Christ that God brings peace to his mind and healing to his spirit. May the Lord calm his heart, remove confusion and agitation, and replace it with the peace that only Christ can give. I also pray for strength and protection for my mother, that she may feel safe and comforted by God’s presence in her home. Thank you all for your continued prayers. We believe in the power of Jesus to restore what is broken and bring light where there is darkness.

We join you in fervent prayer for your brother and mother, trusting in the power of Jesus to heal and restore. Let us bring their needs before the Lord, who is the great healer.

First, we address your brother's mental illness. And we recognize that God can bring peace in this situation.

Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, You are the balm of Gilead, the one who heals all our diseases. We lift up our brother who is afflicted with mental illness, asking for Your divine healing touch upon his mind and spirit. We pray that You calm his heart, remove the confusion and agitation, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
We pray that according to 1 Peter 5:7, he will cast all his anxieties on You, because You care for him. We also pray that according to Philippians 4:7, the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus.
And, we pray that according to 2 Timothy 1:7, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.
We pray for divine intervention, that You would help him to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

We also pray for your mother, who has been greatly distressed by this situation. Lord, we ask that You enfold her in Your loving arms and grant her the strength and protection she needs. Comfort her with Your presence, and help her to trust in You with all her heart, knowing that You are her refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. We pray that according to Psalm 91:1-2, she will remain in the shadow of the Almighty and say to the Lord, My refuge and my fortress; My God, in whom I trust.

We remember that Jesus warned us that in this world we will have troubles. But He has overcome the world. So we take heart. And we pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who, with the Father and the Holy Spirit, is one God, both now and forever. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He is faithful and that His love never fails. Stand firm in your faith, and do not be worried by the fiery ordeals that have come your way to test you. Instead, rejoice in them knowing you have a share in the sufferings of Christ. And when his glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.
Remember that in all things, God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
To be called according to his purpose, you must first believe in Jesus Christ. It is only the name of Jesus that we can be saved.

We are here in agreement with you, believing that God is at work in this situation and that He will bring restoration and healing to your family. Keep standing in faith, and may the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We've been asking the Lord to bring calm and clarity to your brother's mind, and to wrap your mother in His loving embrace, giving her strength and comfort. We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring healing and peace. Keep trusting in the Lord, and let's continue to stand together in faith.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
