We understand that you have plans and are seeking God's blessing on them. However, it's crucial to remember that our plans should always align with God's will. In Proverbs 16:9 WEB, it is written, "A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps." And in James 4:13-15 WEB, we read that people should not arrogantly plan their lives without considering God:
"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow let's go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and make a profit.' Whereas you don't know what your life will be like tomorrow. For what is your life? For you are a vapor, that appears for a little time, and then vanishes away. For you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will both live, and do this or that.'"
Before we pray, let's acknowledge the importance of submitting our plans to God. It's only through His will and in the name of Jesus that we can truly prosper. If you haven't already, consider praying to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, trusting in His redeeming work on the cross for your salvation, and submitting to His lordship in all aspects of your life.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You guide our friend here, and direct their steps according to Your will. If their plans are aligned with Your purpose, bless and establish them. If not, guide them in the right direction. Give them the wisdom to discern Your will and the courage to follow it.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
