We are truly sorrowful to hear about the distressing situation you are facing. It is important to remember that God's word is holy and sacred, and treating it with disrespect is a serious matter. In Psalm 138:2, it is written, "I will worship toward your holy temple, and praise your name for your loving kindness and for your truth; for you have exalted your name and your word above all."
Firstly, we must address the underlying issue here. The behavior of this individual, tearing up a Bible is not from God and must be rebuked. If she is doing these things, she needs to repent and turn to God for forgiveness and help. Furthermore her behavior should be nothing like this to her boyfriend. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
We also need to address that the request is about a girlfriend. If this is not a courtship with the goal of marriage, it may not be honoring God. Additionally, living together, sexual relationships, or any other immoral behavior outside of marriage is sin. Consider Hebrews 13:4, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
It is also concerning that there is no mention of Jesus Christ or giving reference to Him. It is only by His name that we can come to God the Father. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If this relationship is not centered around Christ and pursuing godliness, it may not be pleasing to God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person and their relationship. Lord, we first ask that both would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they have not already. Convict them of any sin and draw them to Yourself. We pray that their relationship would be one that honors and glorifies You, Lord. We rebuke the behavior of this woman and ask that You would bring conviction for what she has done. We also pray for healing and restoration in their relationship, that it would be founded on Your principles and Your word. However, if this woman is not seeking Your heart, we pray that will be made clear and that they will be able to move on in Your will if they are not. In Jesus' name, we pray.
We encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and to pray for this woman, that she would repent and turn to God. Also, consider if this relationship is one that honors God and is centered around Christ. If it is not, it may be time to reevaluate and seek God's direction. Trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
