We understand your need for discernment and guidance in this situation. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that the discernment you seek needs to come in the name of Jesus. The scriptures remind us in Colossians 3:17 WEB, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through Him." and in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
When dealing with others, it's important to remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:16 WEB, "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." We should be wise in our dealings with others, while also being innocent and above reproach.
In making decisions, we can trust in the Lord's guidance, as Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your wisdom and discernment. We ask that You guide us in our decision-making process and give us insight, clarity, and peace of mind regarding the person offering services. Help us to trust in You and Your plan for us. Give us the wisdom of serpents and the innocence of doves as we navigate this situation. We ask this all in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of James 1:5 WEB, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." Trust in the Lord, and He will guide you.
