We understand your need for discernment and guidance in this situation. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that the discernment you seek needs to come in the name of Jesus. The scriptures remind us in Colossians 3:17 WEB, "Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through Him." and in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
When dealing with others, it's important to remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:16 WEB, "Behold, I send you out as sheep among wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." We should be wise in our dealings with others, while also being innocent and above reproach.
In making decisions, we can trust in the Lord's guidance, as Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
