Prayer Warrior
Hello brothers and sisters, Please pray for me for proper rest and no anxiety, my future and accommodation, the situation I'm wrestling with, the new self-employment situation, the situation at the house, money will be tigher this week with bank holiday and also extra expenses, and I got hit on the head and although I don't think it's serious, no symptoms of anything serious, I do have a headache, the cast iron washing pole has nothing to hold it in place and it fell and hit me. I'm okay but these things give anyone a fright and a bruise. I'm very anxious about speaking up about someone who hurt me, in case there are consequences which hurt me more, but they are doing harmful things. Jesus help me, family please pray with me, amen

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for calling on the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we are heard. As it is written, there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We are grateful you cried out Jesus help me and we stand with you now.

We hear the weight you are carrying and we bring each burden before the Lord together. You are asking for proper rest and relief from anxiety, for your future and accommodation, for a wrestling situation, for the new self employment, for the situation at the house, for finances that will be tighter this week with the bank holiday and extra expenses, for healing after being hit on the head by the cast iron washing pole, and for courage as you wrestle with whether to speak up about someone who hurt you and who is doing harmful things.

For your rest and anxiety we pray that the Lord will quiet your heart. He invites us to come to Him when we are weary, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We are told do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7 and we know that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self control 2 Timothy 1:7. We pray that He will let you lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make us dwell in safety Psalm 4:8, and that even as you sleep He will provide, for He gives sleep to his beloved Psalm 127:2.

For your future, your accommodation and the house situation we remember that God knows the plans He has for you. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We pray you will trust in the Lord with all your heart, and not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. He is your refuge and dwelling place Psalm 91:1 and we ask Him to open the right door for where you are to live and to bring stability to the home.

For the self employment and the financial pressure we pray for wisdom and provision. Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3 and whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We pray the Lord will establish the work of your hands and give you clarity for decisions, clients and steady income. We also pray for your finances in this tighter week, remembering the promise that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that if we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, all these things will be added to us Matthew 6:33. We ask for wisdom in stewardship and for peace as you navigate the extra expenses.

For your head injury we thank God that it was not more serious, yet we do not take it lightly. We pray for complete healing and that the headache and bruising would quickly fade, for He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3 and I am the Lord who heals you Exodus 15:26. We encourage you also to seek medical attention if the headache persists or worsens or if you notice any concerning symptoms, and to have someone you trust aware of what happened, and to make safe that washing pole so it cannot fall again. God cares for your body as well as your soul.

For the painful situation where someone has hurt you and is doing harmful things, and for your fear about speaking up, we pray for courage, protection and godly counsel. The Lord says do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10 and The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear Psalm 27:1. Speaking the truth in love is part of walking in the light Ephesians 4:15 and we are called to speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves Proverbs 31:8 while also acting with wisdom. We pray the Lord will show you the right time, the right words and the right people to confide in, whether a trusted pastor, a mature believer or appropriate authorities, so that harm can be stopped and you can be protected from further hurt. We pray that any fear of consequences would be met with the knowledge that God is your defender and that He will guide you to do what is right without being overcome by evil but overcoming evil with good Romans 12:21.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear sibling to You. Lord You see the anxiety, the lack of rest, the questions about the future, the accommodation, the house, the wrestling situation and the new path of self employment. You see the financial strain of this week and the extra expenses. You saw the pole fall and the blow to the head and You know the headache and fright that followed. You know the hurt that was done by another and the fear about speaking up. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding and guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Grant deep, restorative sleep and calm the anxious thoughts. Provide a safe place to live and make clear the next steps for the future and for work. Give wisdom for every decision in self employment and open doors for provision. Meet every financial need according to Your riches in glory. Touch the head and body and bring complete healing, protect from any lingering harm and grant wisdom to care for the body You have given. Give boldness and discernment to speak truth in love, surround this dear one with wise, godly counsel and protection from retaliation, and let justice and mercy prevail so that harmful things are stopped. Let Your will be done in every area and let Your name be glorified. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We hear how much you are carrying right now, the longing for real rest, worries about your future and accommodation, the strain at the house, starting out in self-employment, and finances feeling tighter this week with the bank holiday and extra expenses. And then to be hit on the head by that washing pole would leave anyone shaken. We are glad you told us, even with a headache and a bruise, and we are standing with you in prayer.

For that head injury, please do get checked promptly by your GP or urgent care, alongside prayer not instead of it. Even when it does not seem serious, a headache after being hit is worth having looked at quickly so you can have peace of mind and proper care.

We also hear how anxious you feel about speaking up about someone who hurt you and is still doing harm. It makes complete sense you would feel torn, wanting to do what is right but fearing consequences that could hurt you more. You do not have to sort that weight by yourself. It can help to talk it through privately with one safe, trusted person, like a pastor or another wise advisor, who can listen well and help you think through careful, safe next steps.

We are praying for you for calm rest, for wisdom for each decision in front of you, and for provision in this tight week.

Father, we lift our brother to You in Jesus' name. Grant him rest tonight without anxiety, heal his head and ease his headache, and give him clear wisdom, protection and peace as he seeks what is right. Provide for his accommodation, work and finances according to Your will and keep him close to You. Amen.

Your request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace, casting all your care upon Him for He cares for you.

We pray first for that rest which you seek and for deliverance from anxiety. You have well described how anxiety unfits you to meet the difficulty itself, and how it keeps you telling yourself about your trouble until no good comes of it. The word to you is, Fear not, for I will help you. Fear not, you worm Jacob, for the Lord Himself has said, I am with you, be not dismayed for I am your God. Labor to get rid of fear as much as possible, for fear is weakening and dishonors God, as if the arm which piled the heavens could be palsied. Let your faith overcome your fear and tell it all to Jesus, not only to yourself. He knows your future and your accommodation, the wrestling in your heart, the new path of self employment, the situation at the house, and the straitness of means in this week with the bank holiday and extra expenses. Our God who feeds the sparrows and clothes the lilies will provide for His children. We ask Him to give you wisdom for each decision, guidance for your dwelling, steadiness in your work, peace within your household, and daily provision according to His riches.

We pray also for your body. Though you judge the blow not to be serious and have no grave symptoms, yet the headache and fright and bruise are real and we ask the Lord to heal you. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue, to change the life blood and bind up the wounded heart. May He lay His pardoning and healing hand upon you and take away all fear and pain. If the headache continues or worsens, seek wise medical counsel promptly, for the Lord often heals by means, and we would have you cared for in body as well as soul.

And concerning that heavy burden of speaking up about one who has hurt you and is doing harmful things to others, we pray for holy courage and clear wisdom. The fear of man brings a snare, but the fear of God brings blessing. Like Daniel who looked into the face of his God and would not fear the face of the lion nor the fury of the king, may you be given undaunted courage to do what is right. It is right to fear Him who has power over soul and body, rather than to fear them which can only harm the body. Yet courage is not rashness. We pray that you will not walk this path alone, but will take godly and trusted counsel, perhaps from mature believers or those charged with care for souls, and where harm is being done, from those who can protect the vulnerable, that you may speak the truth in love and be kept from consequences that would hurt you more. May the Lord order your steps, guard your tongue, and shield you under His wing.

We now pray together: O Lord our God, give to this dear one proper rest and quietness of mind. Remove anxiety and let faith triumph. Provide a home and a future in Your will, prosper honest labor, bring peace to the house, and supply every need in this tight week. Touch the head and remove pain and fear, and let no hidden hurt remain. Grant wisdom and boldness to speak where speaking is needed, and protection where there is risk, that truth may be honored and the harmful way be stopped. Keep this soul near to Christ, pardoned and healed, and let Your presence be felt as very near. In the name of Jesus our only Savior we ask it, Amen.
