Prayer To Rediscover Jesus.

I am asking for prayer because of my failing faith in the last several months. I am an only child, age ###, not married or dating, and have always felt that my parents are my life. I have prayed since I was little that my parents be healthy and never suffer of illness, especially young, and die a peaceful death when their time comes. In August, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and has been going through hell. It spread to her lymph nodes, but we recently found out that it had not spread to her lungs as originally thought. Everyone tells me "your prayers were answered, dear", but it is hard for me to believe that. I can't help but wonder why my prayers that I have prayed since the age of 10, were not answered, but this one was? This is only one of the things that have put my faith in serious jeopardy. I find myself not believing. It's really hurting and scaring me. Any prayers that I find Jesus again would be appreciated.

Well... see you need to see how God works to understand these things. I believe we should pray for healing in people definitely but I do not believe it is in our jurisdiction to ask for someone to die a peaceful death. That is God's will because there are SOOO many factors and probabilities that go into things that happen only God knows what is best. Who knows, your mother's suffering may incite another person to great levels of empathy and they may then begin to see the love of Jesus through their empathy. I know it is hard but if your mother is saved then her death is only temporary, you will see her again in heaven which is TRULY where life starts. Earth is simply where we are here to serve God. I do not believe this is your mother's time to die. I believe she will see a full recovery. Listen to a message from ### on Rejoining in our sufferings, The purpose of suffering in this world, etc. He is an amazing pastor and his messages will definitely REALLY open your eyes to the true reign and secrets of God.
