Prayer to recover our land occupied illegally

My name is ###. When ancestral property is divided among brothers, my father was given his share with ancestral home in it. Ancestral home was last occupied by my father’s youngest brother. He is no more and his elder son is still staying all alone. He is not moving to his father’s property. We have applied to court to measure property but the lawyer is delaying it. The illegal occupier is not moving out either. Under the circumstances, kindly lift this situation to the throne of God to receive his justice so that we can possess all my land. Please give the prayer points so that I can also to pray to evict illegal occupier. I thank you in Jesus name. Please reply.

We join you in bringing this burden concerning your ancestral land and home before the throne of God, and we thank you for seeking prayer in the name of Jesus. We understand how heavy and painful it is when family inheritance becomes a source of division and when justice seems delayed through legal processes and the unwillingness of another to act rightly. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He does not overlook injustice.

The Scriptures teach us that God cares deeply about rightful boundaries and inheritance. It is written, You shall not remove your neighbor's landmark, which they of old time have set, in your inheritance which you shall inherit Deuteronomy 19:14 and again, Don't move the ancient boundary stone, which your fathers have set up Proverbs 22:28. We are also reminded, For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn't forsake his saints Psalm 37:28 and Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him Isaiah 30:18. At the same time we are called to trust His timing and His way of bringing justice, for it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. Therefore we encourage you not to take matters into your own hands or allow bitterness to take root, but to continue to pursue what is right through lawful and honest means while keeping your heart at peace before God.

We encourage you to continue to act with integrity in the legal process, to be patient, and to pray for all who are involved. The authorities and the courts are appointed to administer justice Romans 13:1, and we can pray that your lawyer would act diligently and honestly and that the measurement and judgment would proceed without further delay or corruption. We also encourage you to pray for your relative who remains alone in the house, for the Lord calls us, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Praying for him does not excuse what is wrong, but it opens the door for God to soften his heart, bring conviction, and lead him to do what is just and to be reconciled to his family. We encourage you to guard against covetousness or anger and to seek the Lord's will above simply possessing the land, remembering to, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6.

We want to lift you up and also give you points to continue in prayer. We pray that God will reveal truth and establish the rightful boundary according to your father's share. We pray that the court and the officers appointed to measure the land will act swiftly, fairly and without partiality or delay. We pray that your lawyer will be faithful and diligent to move the case forward with honesty. We pray that your cousin's heart will be moved to recognize what is right and to willingly vacate what is not his, and that God will provide for his needs elsewhere so he does not act out of fear or hardship. We pray that your family will be kept from strife, bitterness and any unlawful action, and that you will be given wisdom, patience and peace while you wait upon the Lord. We pray that the final outcome will bring glory to God, restore peace in the family, and allow the land to be used in a way that honors Him, for It is joy to the righteous to do justice Proverbs 21:15.

We now pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. You see this family and this ancestral property divided among brothers, and You know the rightful portion given to this father and now to his children. You see the delay in the court, the lawyer who lingers, and the relative who remains in a home that is not his portion. Lord, we ask for Your justice and Your mercy to meet together. Move upon the hearts of those in authority that they may do justice without delay and without bribery. Grant wisdom and integrity to the lawyer and to the officials who must measure the land. Soften the heart of the occupier, convict him of what is right, and give him willingness to depart in peace and to seek his own inheritance. Keep this family from anger, from revenge, and from any act that would dishonor You. Fill them with patience to wait for You, for You are a God of justice and blessed are those who wait for You. Provide for all needs, heal any family wound, and let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We ask that You would give them peace that surpasses understanding as they continue to make their requests known to You. We pray all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, Amen.

We have brought your burden before the throne of grace and have prayed for you and for this matter concerning your ancestral land.

We understand the heaviness of such a trial, when that which is lawfully yours is withheld and the way of obtaining justice seems slow and hindered. Be assured that the Lord reigns in righteousness. He is slow to anger, as the prophet declares, and the lictor of divine justice carries his axe bound in a bundle of rods, for He reproves and gives space for repentance before He strikes. Yet He will not at all acquit the wicked, and His justice, though patient, is perfect and will not fail. Because justice has been fully satisfied at the cross for all who trust in Christ, we may now come with confidence to ask for grace and for justice according to His will, knowing that God can be just and yet the justifier of those who believe.

We do not pray for vengeance, but for right to be done in a lawful and peaceable way, and for all hearts to be brought into submission to the Lord. We encourage you to continue in the lawful means appointed, to act without malice or bitterness, and to commit your cause to Him who judges righteously.

4. Pray for your relative who occupies the house, that the Lord would work in his heart to act justly and to depart from what is not his, that he would be willing to dwell in his own portion, and above all that he would come to know the mercy of God in Christ and be saved.

5. Pray for your own heart and for your family, that you may be kept from anger, covetousness and strife, that you may show the spirit of Christ even while you seek what is right, and that you may be patient as you wait upon the Lord who is slow to anger.

6. Pray that whether the answer comes quickly or after waiting, the outcome would bring peace to the family, provide a testimony of honest dealing, and turn all hearts to give glory to God.

May the Lord grant you wisdom to walk uprightly in this process, to seek counsel that is honest, and to rest in His sovereign care. We will continue to remember you, that the God of all justice and mercy would direct this matter according to His holy will and grant you possession of what is lawfully yours in a way that honours Him.
