Prayer to receive my job breakthrough..

Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with an anxious heart yearning for answers. I don’t know if I was able to pass the interview or if Lauren liked me enough to hire me back in MPG. My anxiety is growing stronger and my bills are coming up; and I have no more money left in the bank to pay for everything else.

I am all out, Lord. I don’t even know how I will survive the end of the month already. I am in deep waters right now, and I am only holding on to my faith in you. The start of 2026 was indeed so rough. I have been battling with my inner demons and temptations of this world.

I am in desperate need of your breakthrough. I need your help. I need you to come through, Lord. I know you know what my heart desires. I need this job more than ever but I am in my waiting season. Lord, I am so sorry for all my sins. I am so sorry I forgot about you when my life was going well. I am sorry I forgot to pray.

I am so sorry I was not able to be a good daughter to you. I have made so many mistakes and I am deeply truly very sorry for all of them. I know you let this happen to me because you wanted to prune me and teach me a lesson. I acknowledge it, Lord and I am repenting for all of my sins. I am sorry I was not able to be there when you needed me to pray even though my life was going well. I am sorry that I forgot to go to church on Sundays. I am sorry that I didn’t for one think of thanking you for the blessings you have given me last year. I am so sorry for all of it. I am so guilty and I feel ashamed of myself. It was only when you stripped me out of everything that I learned that I was going in a different direction already. I am sorry, Lord. I have failed you and I didn’t listen to your calling.

I don’t know what the future holds, but I trust in your word, and I trust in you. Wholeheartedly, I lift up to you all of my sins, my temptations, my enemies, my desires, my problems and my prayer requests.

I pray that you guide me in this season of my life to keep following you, to keep your word. To honor you even in good days and bad. To always be thankful of the life you gave me and the blessings you have given us. I am sorry for taking everything for granted.

I love you with all my heart, Jesus Christ.
I am sorry for not being a good daughter to the Father, and for not following your word. I pray for protection and guidance as I patiently wait for your blessing.

I know you have plans for me, Lord. Plans to prosper me. I trust in you even though right now I don’t know if MPG will take me back. I am scared to email Jamila for a feedback because I am afraid of rejection.

I lift this up to you, Heavenly Father. Please take away my burdens, my sorrows and my problems. Please take care of me. I fully surrender all of these to you. I love you and I hope you can forgive me for all my sins.

Please let this be in accordance to your will, Lord. If not, please help me see my breakthrough and accept what your plans for me are in my life. I have no more choice because you are in control, and I want you Lord to write my story for me this time. Please hear my prayers.

Amen.

We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this season of waiting and repentance. Your honesty before the Lord is a powerful act of humility, and we rejoice that you have turned back to Him with such sincerity. The weight of financial strain and the fear of rejection are heavy burdens, but we know that our God is faithful to sustain those who trust in Him.

First, we want to affirm your repentance. The Word tells us in 1 John 1:9, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Your acknowledgment of sin and your desire to realign your life with God’s will are precious in His sight. The Lord disciplines those He loves (Hebrews 12:6), and this season of pruning is not a sign of His abandonment but of His deep care for you. He is shaping you into the woman He has called you to be, and though the process is painful, the fruit will be worth it.

We also want to encourage you with the truth of God’s provision. Philippians 4:19 declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise but a sure foundation. Even when the bank account is empty, when the bills are due, and when the future feels uncertain, God sees your need and is already at work. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety that seeks to paralyze you, for the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved.

Now, let us address the practical steps you can take while waiting on the Lord. It is wise to follow up with ### regarding the interview, not out of fear, but as a step of faithful stewardship. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* If this job is God’s will for you, He will open the door. If it is not, He will redirect your steps. Either way, trust that His plan is perfect. We also encourage you to seek out other opportunities, whether through temporary work, community resources, or even asking for help from fellow believers. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and there is no shame in reaching out when you are in need.

We must also speak to the deeper issue of your relationship with God. Your repentance is beautiful, but we want to remind you that your worth is not found in your performance or your circumstances. You are a daughter of the King, and nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39). Even when you forget to pray, even when you neglect His Word, even when you wander—His love remains. Do not let guilt or shame keep you from running to Him. He is waiting with open arms, ready to restore and renew you.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister who is crying out to You in this time of need. Lord, we thank You for her honesty and her repentant heart. We ask that You would wash her clean by the blood of Jesus, removing every stain of guilt and shame. Father, we declare that she is forgiven, restored, and deeply loved by You.

Lord, we lift up her financial needs to You. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give her favor in the eyes of those who can help her, whether through employment, provision, or unexpected blessings. We rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that Your abundance is her portion.

Father, we ask that You would calm her anxious heart. Replace her fear with Your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to trust in Your timing, knowing that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28).

We also pray for her spiritual growth. Strengthen her faith, Lord. Help her to remain steadfast in prayer, in Your Word, and in fellowship with other believers. Let this season of waiting draw her closer to You, not push her away. Remind her daily of Your love and Your promises.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would guide her steps regarding this job opportunity. If it is Your will, open the door for her to return to ###. If it is not, close the door gently and redirect her to the path You have prepared. Give her courage to follow up with ###, trusting that You are with her in every conversation.

We surrender all of this into Your hands, Lord. May Your will be done in her life, and may she find her strength and hope in You alone. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear sister. He is not done writing your story. In fact, He is just beginning a new chapter—one filled with hope, purpose, and His unfailing love. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). Your breakthrough is coming.

We're here with you, dear friend, in this season of waiting and reflection. We hear your heart's cry and we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He knows your struggles, and He is right there with you.

We want to remind you of the power of thanksgiving. Even in the midst of your anxieties and financial strain, there are still blessings to be grateful for. In Philippians 4:6-7, we're encouraged to, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's make a conscious effort to thank God for the things we do have, trusting that He will take care of the rest.

We also want to remind you of the importance of community. You're not alone in this. Reach out to your church family, your friends, or even us here. Let's lift each other up in prayer and support one another through these challenging times.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today with our sister in need. Lord, we thank You for her honesty and her willingness to turn to You in her time of need. We ask that You would comfort her, fill her with Your peace, and guide her steps. Help her to trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for her good. We ask that You would open doors of opportunity for her, provide for her needs, and give her favor in the eyes of those who can help her. We lift up her job situation to You, Lord. If it is Your will for her to return to ###, we ask that You would open that door. If not, we ask that You would close it gently and redirect her to the path You have prepared for her. We trust in Your timing and Your plan, knowing that You are a good Father who only wants the best for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy.

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

It has been our privilege to lift you up in prayer, asking our Heavenly Father to calm your anxious heart, provide for your needs, and open the right door for employment. We have prayed that He would give you peace as you wait, wisdom as you consider next steps, and courage to reach out for feedback—knowing that even rejection can be part of His perfect plan.
