Disciple of Prayer
I come begging of spiritual support for my girlfriend. Since the time I've met her and even before, she has been suffering from torment. She tells me that at night she'll usually wake and cannot fall back to sleep. She would have nightmares of painful past memories. I am now well aware that this is the work of an evil entity set to possess and torment. Very recently, I was holding her and she felt drowsy. I chanted a small prayer for blessing, protection, and rebuke. I then witnessed her body tremble, muscles contract, and her skin tone change to red. She even told me that her head ached whilst I prayed. We sat for a while, and I noticed she seemed exhausted. She tells me she didn't feel as herself as I prayed.
Soon I sat with her again to chant another prayer. Her eyes were closed, she started whispering, and then her body contracted, her hands moved as if she was trying to write. I gripped her palm firmly and held them through the prayer so I could not make out what she was saying. Soon her eyes opened, and I noticed her staring at the ceiling while I chanted a new prayer. I questioned what it was, but she couldn't speak. I gave her a device to type, and she said she saw her dead relatives saying the prayer I chanted. I felt overwhelmed. But I prayed harder, even as I trembled myself. She acted on the prayer once more as she did. A few minutes after, I woke her from her sleep and handed her the device. She said she felt as if she wasn't being watched anymore. She felt it try to enter her again, and then I called on the Holy Ghost to let it leave her, and so it did.
Please, I come here because I feel as if my prayers are weak and too often repeated. Witnessing what had occurred has made me realize more how vulnerable one can be without prayer.
This girl is one I care for truly and one I give the Father praise for. There's more to the torment she faces (i.e., suicidal thoughts, depression, etc.), and I constantly encourage her to pray and to call on, and welcome Jesus. But she is not fully aware of His divine grace and wishes to know more. She was raised by atheist parents but does not choose to follow them. She wishes to fortify her faith.
I'm requesting a prayer that will rid her of torment and cast out the evil that presents itself at night. One that will secure her from being tormented again. One that can be repeated without any depletion in its strength. Please; I beg.
