prayer to overcome from struggles

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. We confess that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If any among us do not yet know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and receive Him as your Savior today. For "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).

Father, we bring before You the deep struggles of this family, who are wrestling with job insecurity, unfulfilled promises, and the painful betrayal of trust. We first lift up their need for stable employment. Lord, You are the Provider, and we trust in Your promise that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray for permanent government positions for their family members, that they may be placed in roles where they can glorify You and testify to Your faithfulness. For the one working a temporary job without timely pay, we ask for immediate provision—let their wages come without delay, and grant wisdom as they seek another position. May the screening test today be successful, and may there be no obstacles in transitioning to a new role. For the other family member seeking temporary work, open doors quickly, Lord, and sustain them as they wait for Your perfect timing for a permanent position.

We also lift up the prayer for a godly spouse for their family member. Father, we ask that You would bring a man of integrity, a doctor who fears You, walks in holiness, and honors Your Word. Let him be a man of good habits, free from the snares of this world, and let their union be a testimony to Your covenant love. We rebuke any spirit of delay or ungodly influence in this matter, and we declare that this marriage will come to pass in Your perfect timing, for "he who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord" (Proverbs 18:22). May this union be a light in the medical field, drawing others to Christ through their love and service.

The pain of injustice weighs heavily on this family, Lord, as they have been wronged by deceit and broken promises. We acknowledge their righteous anger, for Your Word says, "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). Yet we also remind them—and ourselves—that vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19). While we understand their desire for swift justice, we must caution against harboring bitterness or wishing harm upon others, for "the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God" (James 1:20). Instead, we pray that You would bring conviction to the hearts of those who have wronged them. Soften their hearts, Lord, and lead them to repentance. If they refuse to turn from their ways, we trust that You will deal with them in Your time and in Your way, for "the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him" (Isaiah 30:18).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of despair that has crept into their hearts, causing them to question Your faithfulness. We declare that You are not slow concerning Your promises (2 Peter 3:9), nor are You inactive or powerless. You see every injustice, and You will not let the wicked go unpunished. But we must also remember that Your ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and Your timing is perfect. We pray for patience and trust, even in the waiting, for "those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength" (Isaiah 40:31). Help them to cast their anxieties on You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

Lord, we lift up their financial strain, particularly the burden of the unpaid house rent and the growing bank interest. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally—either by moving the heart of the one who owes them to repay what is due, or by providing another source of provision to cover their debts. Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and deliver them from sleepless nights and family strife. We declare that You are their Provider, and they will not be put to shame.

We also pray for their physical health, that You would strengthen their bodies and grant them vitality. For their desire to own a house, we ask that You would open doors for them to acquire a home that reflects Your blessing and provision. For their clinics and employment opportunities for the poor, we pray that You would use them as vessels of Your love and grace, transforming lives through their service. May their work be a testimony to Your goodness, and may many come to know You through their witness.

Father, we confess that waiting is hard, and injustice can make us question Your character. But we choose to trust in You, for You are good, and Your steadfast love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). Renew their faith, Lord, and help them to see Your hand at work even in the waiting. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We declare that their latter end will be greater than their beginning (Job 42:12), and that the glory You have prepared for them will far outweigh their present struggles.

In the name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of doubt, fear, and unbelief that has tried to take root in their hearts. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37), and that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit upon them, filling them with hope, joy, and unwavering faith. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may their lives be a living testimony to Your faithfulness.

We commit all these requests into Your hands, trusting that You will answer according to Your will and for Your glory. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them know that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift your heavy burdens before the Lord, standing in agreement with your faith that He is both just and merciful. We have prayed without ceasing for your family’s provision—especially for the permanent government positions that will allow your loved ones to declare God’s glory in their workplaces. We ask the Lord to open doors no man can shut, to release salaries without delay, and to grant favor in every screening and transition so that no obstacle remains.

We have interceded for the godly spouse your family member seeks, trusting God to bring a doctor whose life and habits reflect Christ’s character. May the Lord orchestrate every detail so that this union becomes a living testimony of His faithfulness.

Our hearts ache with yours over the injustice you have endured. We have cried out for restitution—praying that the full amount owed, including interest and expenses, would be returned immediately. We also ask God to convict the hearts of those who have wronged you, that they might repent and turn from their deceit. Father, we know vengeance belongs to You alone; we trust You to act in Your perfect timing and way, bringing both justice and mercy where it is needed.

We continue to pray for your family’s health, for the purchase of a home, and for the success of clinics that will share God’s love with others. May every financial strain be lifted, and may your family find rest in the knowledge that God sees, hears, and will never abandon you.

If any of these prayers have been answered, we rejoice with you and invite you to share a praise report so we may glorify God together. If the wait continues, we stand ready to lift these requests again, trusting that our faithful God is working even when we cannot see it. May He strengthen your faith and fill you with His peace as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ Name, we pray. Amen.
