Prayer to heal my snoring.

JoyE

Disciple of Prayer
Dear prayer partners, please pray for me that my sleep Apnea will be gone. Since the past 2 years I have been having severe snoring and I often feel embarrassed when others tell me how badly or awful I sound snoring. I am now looking after a patient and it’s a live In position and she keeps saying how badly I snore. It’s seems even if I am sleeping on my side I snore. I fell asleep in the daytime once and the patient told me how badly I was snoring. Now, even if I am extremely tired during the day I force myself to stay awake. Please pray for me and believe God with me that I can be healed . In Jesus name I ask amen.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in prayer, lifting your struggle with sleep apnea and snoring before our Heavenly Father. This condition not only affects your rest but also weighs on your heart with embarrassment and fatigue. We know the Lord sees your weariness and cares deeply for your well-being, for He promises in Psalm 121:3-4, "He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." Even in this, God is watching over you, and we trust He will bring healing and relief.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You touch every part of this dear one’s body that contributes to their snoring and sleep apnea, strengthen their airway, open their nasal passages, and bring complete healing to their throat, tongue, and any other area affected. Lord, we rebuke this condition in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares in 1 Peter 2:24 that by Christ’s stripes, we were healed. We claim that healing now, believing that You are restoring peaceful, quiet sleep to them.

We also pray for wisdom and guidance, Lord. If there are lifestyle changes, such as diet, exercise, or sleeping positions, that could aid in this healing, reveal them clearly. If medical intervention is needed, lead them to the right professionals who can help. But above all, we ask for Your supernatural touch, for we know that with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26).

We encourage you to stand firm in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers. Do not grow weary in seeking Him, for Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Even in the waiting, God is working. Keep your heart open to His leading, and do not hesitate to seek godly counsel or medical advice as part of His provision.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that your worth is not defined by this struggle. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and God loves you deeply. The embarrassment you feel is understandable, but do not let it steal your joy or peace. Rest in the knowledge that God is with you, even in the night watches, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already on the way. We declare that this sleep apnea and snoring will no longer have dominion over this beloved child of Yours. We speak life, health, and restoration over their body, mind, and spirit. May they experience the fullness of Your peace and the refreshing sleep that comes from You. We ask all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We’re so sorry you’re carrying this heavy load, the exhaustion, the embarrassment, and the pressure of caring for someone while struggling to stay awake yourself. That takes a real toll, and we want you to know we hear the weariness in your words. It’s completely understandable that you’d feel self-conscious when your patient comments, and we’re standing with you in asking God for relief.

Since you’ve been snoring severely for two years now and even position changes don’t help, it may be wise to have a medical evaluation. What you’re describing can sometimes point to sleep apnea, which is a treatable condition. Taking that step isn’t a sign of weak faith; God often works through the wisdom He gives to doctors. Getting properly assessed could not only quiet the snoring but restore the deep rest you desperately need, which would bless both you and the person you’re looking after.

In the meantime, we’re praying with you and believing that God sees your struggle and cares about every detail.

Jesus, we bring this dear caregiver before You right now. You know how weary she is, how embarrassed she feels, and how much she needs real rest. We ask for Your healing hand to touch her sleep, whether through a medical breakthrough or a supernatural quieting of her breathing. Give her wisdom about the next right step, and surround her with understanding from the person she serves. Restore her energy and replace the anxiety with Your peace. In Your name we pray, Amen.

How often our frail bodies become a source of trial and humiliation. The snoring that so troubles you is a small but piercing thorn, and I mark well the shame it brings. Yet shame, when it sends us to the mercy seat, is not without its holy use. The Psalmist cried, “Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Lord.” Let this distress not sink you in despondency, but be the spur that drives you to the great Physician. Our blessed Master hid not His face from shame and spitting; He knows every humiliation and is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. Cast this reproach upon Him who endured the cross, despising the shame, and find in His sympathy a shelter.

You long for quiet slumber. Do you not know that sleep itself is a gift of God to His beloved? “So he giveth his beloved sleep.” Yet your snoring disturbs the rest He gives and fills your days with weariness and fear. I rejoice that you have turned to Jesus, for the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. I will join my faith with yours, entreating the Lord to touch your throat and breathing, that this loud affliction may be stilled and your sleep be sweet again. He who spoke peace to the raging sea can calm the turbulence of your night.

But do not forget the greater healing. First forgiveness, then healing. Seek ever the pardoning blood that cleanses from all sin, and bring your body’s weakness to Him as well. If, in His wise providence, the snoring remains, let it be a perpetual alarm to keep you from spiritual slumber. Let it remind you, when others reproach you, that you are not your own, but bought with a price. Let it whisper to your soul, “Let us not sleep, as do others,” but be vigilant in prayer. Whether healed or left to bear this trial, may you possess that sleep of contentment and security which is the portion of those who rest in Christ, knowing that He orders all things well. I commend you to the Lord, who heareth prayer and who giveth His beloved sleep in His own time and way.
