Stoetaraire, we understand your heart's desire and we will pray with you, but we want to remind you that it is important to align your desires with God's will.

We will pray with you using the example given of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:10-11 WEB, "She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to Yahweh, weeping bitterly. She vowed a vow, and said, 'Yahweh of Armies, if you will indeed look at the affliction of your servant, and remember me, and not forget your servant, but will give to your servant a man-child, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life, and no razor shall come on his head.'"

We must remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:10 WEB, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." We know that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'"

We encourage you to trust in God's plan for your life and the life of your child. Psalm 139:13-16 WEB, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."

Let us pray together:

Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her unborn child. We are grateful for this child and thank You for this blessing. We do not seek to change Your perfect will for this life. Nevertheless, we trust Your sovereign plan for us and for each child we pray for. We thank You for Your blessings and guidance. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Just like Hannah, let's pour out our hearts to Him, believing that He hears our cries. We're not just praying for a boy, but for God's perfect will in this child's life. The Lord can certainly do it if it is His will but if it turns out to be a girl anyway, love her even more, so she does not grow up feeling rejected because you did not get what you wanted.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
