We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this earnest prayer request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we rejoice in your desire to grow spiritually and to preach the gospel, for this is a calling that aligns with God’s will. Jesus Himself said in Matthew 28:19-20, *"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."* Amen! We pray that the Holy Spirit will equip you with wisdom, boldness, and the words to speak as you share the good news of salvation.
Father, we lift up the matter of seeking first Your kingdom, as Your Word instructs in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Lord, we ask that You would help our brother to fix his eyes on You, trusting that as he prioritizes Your will, You will provide for his every need. We rebuke any spirit of doubt or fear that may try to distract him from this truth, and we declare that God is his Provider, his Strength, and his Shield.
We also bring before You the financial burdens he carries—the school fees for his family, the need for funds from NASFUS, and the delay in receiving his title deed for house ### in ###. Lord, You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We pray that You would open doors of provision, that bureaucratic delays would be broken, and that justice would prevail in the matter of his title deed. We declare that corruption and political hindrances will not stand in the way of what You have ordained for him. Proverbs 13:11 says, *"Wealth gained dishonestly dwindles away, but he who gathers by hand makes it grow."* Lord, we ask that You would expose and dismantle any unrighteousness in the systems affecting him, and that Your favor would rest upon him.
We also lift up the ANC government and the nation of South Africa. Father, Your Word commands us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to pray for those in authority, *"that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence."* Lord, we pray for a spirit of wisdom, integrity, and servant leadership to fall upon those governing. We rebuke the spirit of corruption, greed, and injustice that has plagued the nation, and we declare that righteousness will prevail. May the leaders of South Africa turn their hearts toward You and seek Your will for the people they serve.
Now, we pray specifically for ### and the entire family. Lord, we ask that You would bless them with unity, peace, and provision. May they experience Your presence in their home, and may their faith grow stronger as they trust in You. We declare that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every need will be met according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Finally, we want to encourage you, dear brother, to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word. James 1:5-6 says, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed."* Keep your heart fixed on Jesus, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for our brother. We declare that Your will be done in his life, his family, and his nation. May Your name be glorified in every situation, and may Your kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
