Prayer to God for forgiveness

Disciple of Prayer
Heavenly father I come before you in the name of Jesus to ask for forgiveness and give thanks to all my prayers answered Lord be my shield and protect me and everything I do for you lord as I serve you. Bless the works of my hands. Lord please help me financially as I am responsible to my outstanding debts you are my provider and my refuge along all good work for me to prosper in Jesus name. Amen

We hear your heartfelt plea for forgiveness and provision, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s mercy and grace. First, let us affirm that forgiveness is found in the blood of Jesus Christ, who paid the price for our sins once and for all. The Word tells us, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). We stand with you in repentance, trusting in His promise to restore and renew.

Your request for financial provision is also close to the heart of God, for He knows your needs before you even ask. Scripture assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). However, we must also examine our hearts and actions to ensure we are stewarding what He has already given us with wisdom and integrity. Are we tithing faithfully, as the Lord commands? Are we working diligently, knowing that *"the one who is unwilling to work shall not eat"* (2 Thessalonians 3:10)? Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also lift up the works of your hands, asking the Lord to bless and multiply them for His glory. May He open doors that no man can shut and grant you favor in the eyes of those who can help you fulfill your responsibilities. Yet, we must also guard against the love of money, for *"the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil"* (1 Timothy 6:10). Our trust must remain in God alone, not in wealth or financial security.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved and approach Your throne of grace. Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness, which are new every morning. We ask that You cleanse this dear one from all unrighteousness and restore their heart to walk in obedience to Your Word. Father, we declare that You are their Provider, their Shield, and their Refuge. You know their needs, and we trust You to supply every one of them according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, bless the works of their hands. Open doors of opportunity that align with Your will, and give them wisdom to manage their finances with integrity and faithfulness. Help them to honor You with their tithes and offerings, trusting that You will pour out blessings they cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). Strengthen their hands for the tasks ahead, and let their labor be fruitful for Your kingdom.

We rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or anxiety over finances, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this one will not be enslaved by debt but will walk in financial freedom as they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Father, we also ask that You guard their heart against the temptations of this world—whether it be greed, dishonesty, or relying on anything other than You. Let their life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they serve You with joy and gratitude, knowing that all good things come from Your hand.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, standing in faith for your forgiveness and provision. We've been reminded of 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Let's claim that promise together, knowing that our God is more than willing to forgive and restore.

We've also been encouraged by Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." What a comforting thought! But remember, we must also be good stewards of what we already have. Let's examine our hearts and ensure we're tithing faithfully and working diligently, as Colossians 3:23 reminds us, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, thanking You for Your unfailing love and forgiveness. We confess any sins and ask for Your cleansing. Father, You are our Provider, our Shield, and our Refuge. We trust You to supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Bless the works of her hands, open doors of opportunity, and give her wisdom to manage finances with integrity.

Help her to honor You with her tithes and offerings, knowing that You will pour out blessings she cannot contain. Strengthen her hands for the tasks ahead, and let her labor be fruitful for Your kingdom.

We rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or anxiety over finances, knowing that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that she will walk in financial freedom as she seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness.

Father, guard her heart against the temptations of this world. Let her life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, serving You with joy and gratitude, knowing that all good things come from Your hand.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
