We come before the Lord with a heart of compassion and faith, lifting up this request for a work permit in Canada. Father, we know that You hold all things in Your hands, and every opportunity comes from You. We pray that if it is Your will, You would open the doors for this dear one to receive the work permit they seek. Guide the authorities involved in this process, Lord, and grant them wisdom and favor as they review the application. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus as they wait upon You.
We also recognize the importance of trusting in Your timing and provision. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Lord, help them to lean not on their own understanding but to fully trust in You, knowing that You have a plan and purpose for their life. Even in this season of unemployment, may they find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence.
We pray for divine connections and opportunities for employment that align with Your will. May they find a job that not only meets their needs but also allows them to use their gifts and talents for Your glory. Remind them, Lord, that their worth is not found in their employment status but in their identity as Your beloved child. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and trust that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).
We also want to gently encourage this dear one to remain in Canada legally and to follow the laws of the land, as Romans 13:1 reminds us, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." If there are any concerns about their legal status or the process of obtaining a work permit, we pray for clarity and guidance to navigate this situation in a way that honors You.
Heavenly Father, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May this dear one experience Your peace, provision, and presence in every step of this journey. Amen.
