We join you in praising our Lord for His faithfulness, and we lift up your heart’s cry for employment before His throne of grace. It is a blessing to know you are seeking God’s provision in this season of waiting, and we stand with you in faith, trusting that He who feeds the birds of the air and clothes the lilies of the field will surely care for you (Matthew 6:26-33).
The Word of God reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You have waited patiently for a year and a half, and we know this has not been easy. Yet, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord’s timing, for He is never late. His plans for you are good, to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Even in this waiting, He is refining your faith and preparing you for what lies ahead.
We also want to gently remind you that our prayers are only heard and answered because of the name of Jesus Christ. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, Ephesians 2:18). There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can boldly approach God’s throne (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without faith in Christ, even our most earnest prayers lack the power of His intercession.
Now, let us pray together for your placement in this job. May the Lord open the doors that no man can shut and give you favor in the eyes of those making this decision. We pray that if this job is His will for you, He will confirm it with peace and clarity. If it is not, we ask that He would close this door gently and redirect your steps to the opportunity He has prepared for you. Either way, we declare that your trust in Him will not be in vain.

*Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is earnestly seeking employment. Lord, You know the longing of their heart and the needs they face. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would open the door for this job if it aligns with Your perfect will. Grant them favor with those in authority, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind as they wait (Philippians 4:6-7).*
*If this is not the job You have for them, we pray You would close this door and lead them to the right opportunity—one that will not only meet their needs but also allow them to glorify You in their work. Strengthen their faith during this time, and remind them that their worth is not found in their employment but in their identity as Your child (Colossians 3:23-24).*
*We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your hope and confidence, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and let this season of waiting draw them closer to You.*
*We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.*

As you wait for the results today, we encourage you to meditate on Psalm 37:5: *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). Whether the answer is yes or no, remember that God’s plan for you is unfolding, and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).
If this job does not come through, do not lose heart. God may be preparing something even better for you, or He may be calling you to a season of further trust and dependence on Him. Continue to seek Him first, and all these things—including your daily needs—will be added to you (Matthew 6:33). Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and let your light shine before others through your faith and perseverance. We are standing with you in this, and we believe God is at work!
