We come before the Lord with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this request for your daughter’s employment as a nurse. Father God, You are the Provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and wisdom. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We stand on this promise, believing that You have a plan and a purpose for her skills and calling in nursing.
Lord, we ask that You open the right doors for her—doors that align with Your will and that will allow her to serve others with compassion and excellence. Guide her steps to the place where she can glorify You through her work, whether in a hospital, clinic, or another setting where her gifts are needed. We pray against discouragement or fear, knowing that You have not given her a spirit of timidity but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen her faith as she waits, and fill her with peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We also rebuke any spirit of delay or hindrance that may be standing in the way of her employment. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and may she walk in the favor of the Lord as she seeks this opportunity. If there are areas where she needs to grow or adjust—whether in her resume, interview skills, or mindset—we ask that You reveal them to her and equip her for success.
Father, we know that work is a gift from You, and we pray that this job would not only meet her practical needs but also bring her fulfillment and joy in serving others. May she be a light in her workplace, reflecting Your love and grace to patients and colleagues alike.
Lastly, we want to gently remind all who come before the throne of grace that our prayers are heard because of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your daughter—or anyone reading this—has not yet placed their trust in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Provider and Redeemer. Amen.
