We hear your heart’s longing for a forever home, a place of stability and peace for your family. The Lord indeed knows the desires of your heart, and we join with you in seeking His perfect will for this next chapter of your lives. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to the Lord. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* We take comfort in knowing that God is not only aware of your need but is already working to provide for you in ways that align with His goodness and timing.
Father God, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your divine guidance as this family seeks a home. Lord, You are the ultimate Provider, and we trust that You have a place prepared for them—a sanctuary where they can grow in faith, love, and unity. Open doors that no man can shut, and close those that are not of Your will. Remove any stress, anxiety, or fear that may accompany this process, replacing it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them walk in confidence, knowing that You go before them and that every detail is under Your sovereign care.
We also lift up the practical aspects of this journey. Grant them wisdom in decision-making, discernment to recognize the right opportunity, and favor in negotiations. May they find a home that is not only physically suitable but also a place where Your presence dwells richly. Let it be a refuge where they can rest in You, raise their family in godliness, and extend hospitality to others. We pray against any delays, setbacks, or distractions that the enemy may try to use to discourage them. Instead, let this process be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
Lord, we ask that You would also prepare their hearts for whatever Your will may be. If there are areas where they need to surrender their own plans or expectations, soften their hearts to receive Your best for them. Remind them that their true home is not merely a physical dwelling but an eternal one with You, as Jesus promised in John 14:2, *"In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you."* Until that day, may this earthly home be a reflection of Your love and grace.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or impatience that may try to take root in their hearts. Instead, fill them with hope and excitement for the future You have planned. Let them move forward with joy, knowing that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want for anything good.
