We join with you in prayer in Jesus' name and stand with you in this urgent and stressful season as you must leave your current house by the end of the month and have not yet found another. We understand the spiritual warfare and fatigue you are feeling, and we bring all of these needs before our Father who cares deeply for you.
We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that comes with this uncertainty, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as taught in 2 Timothy 1:7. The battle you feel is real, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places in Ephesians 6:12, but greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. We cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and we are told in Philippians 4:6-7 not to be anxious in anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray together for provision and favor. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we ask that You lead this dear one's father to the best house for the family according to Your perfect will, in the best location You have chosen. You know the desire for a walk out basement with a bathroom, and we ask that if it is Your will You provide it, but above all we ask for Your will to be done and for a safe, peaceful home to be revealed quickly within these two weeks. We pray for Your protection and favor upon their father as he searches, that You would open doors no man can shut and give him wisdom and discernment. We also ask that You soften and move upon their mother's heart, that if it is Your will and for their good, she would be willing to let them stay in one of her apartments as a temporary refuge until the new house is found. We trust Your promise in Matthew 7:7 to ask, and it will be given to you, seek, and you will find, knock, and it will be opened to you, and in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
We also lift up your body to the Lord, for you share that you are extremely fatigued and believe you have nerve damage. We pray for Your healing touch and restoring strength, Father. You give power to the weak and to him who has no might You increase strength in Isaiah 40:29, and You have promised in Jeremiah 30:17 that You will restore health and heal wounds. We ask for physical renewal, for clear medical wisdom if doctors are needed, for deep rest, and for Your peace to guard your body and mind. We pray for happiness not rooted only in circumstances but in the joy of the Lord, which is our strength.
We pray for the spiritual desires you have expressed, to get clear visions from God, to hear His voice, to see as God sees, and for wisdom. We ask God to grant you wisdom liberally, for in James 1:5 if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray you will hear His voice clearly, for His sheep hear His voice and He knows them and they follow Him in John 10:27, and that hearing comes primarily through His Word and the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit, not through confusion. We pray He will give you eyes to see as He sees, with love, truth, and discernment, and that any visions or guidance will align fully with Scripture.
Regarding your desire to find love, we pray with you for God's best. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning, for a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh in Genesis 2:24. We pray that if it is God's will for you to marry, He will bring a godly Christian spouse into your life in His perfect timing, and that any courtship would be with the goal of marriage to another believer, for we are told not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers in 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you to pursue relationships that honor God in purity, for marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the bed undefiled in Hebrews 13:4, and any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication or adultery which God calls us to flee from. We pray for a love that is patient, kind, and Christ-centered, that would lead to a marriage that glorifies Him.
Father, we thank You that You know the plans You have for this dear one, plans for peace, and not for evil, to give hope and a future in Jeremiah 29:11. We ask for Your protection over this whole family, for Your favor to go before them, for provision that comes at just the right time, for healing and energy, and for a renewed mind that trusts You daily. May they dwell in the secret place of the Most High and rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1, knowing You are their refuge and fortress. We ask all these things in the mighty and only name by which we have access to God and by which we are saved, the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.
