🙇🏻 “But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man,” Lk 21:36, Fruitfully Abiding in Him Jn 15:7-8, Prepared for Birth Pangs Mt 24:7-8 of New Creation Heb 12:2, See to It No One Deceives Us, Mt 24:4, 📖 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away. Luke 21:33. "For all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs, Mt 24:8.

Matt 24:8-14, "And Jesus answered and said to them, 'See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, "I am the Christ," and will mislead many. You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes. But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs. Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. And this Gospel of The Kingdom shall be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the people groups, and then the end shall come," Mt 24:8-14.

Luke 21:34-36, “So be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap; for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the alert at all times, 🙏 praying that you may have STRENGTH to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

🙇🏻 Father, thank You for telling us these things through Your Son before they take place, so that while they are occurring, we may be believing, John 14:29. We know that everything that can be shaken will be shaken -- heaven, earth, sea, dry land and all nations, Hag 4:6-7 -- so that the things which cannot be shaken will remain, Heb 12:27, Therefore, since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us be filled with gratitude, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for You are a consuming fire, Heb 12:28. As things shift in our personal lives and on a global scale, we ask for daily bread, Matt 6:11, for connection to Jesus, John 15:1-5, our Beloved, who is like a bundle of myrrh through the night who warms our hearts, Song 1:13, and for strength to ensure not only these trials with joy, Matt 5:12, James 1:2-3, but persecutions, famines, perils, wars and rumors of wars, even earthquakes in various places, storms of life and real storms on earth, knowing that no created thing can keep us from the uncreated love of God in Christ Jesus Our Lord, Rom 8:35, for Jesus is risen and ascended and at Your Right Hand of Power, making intercession for us, Rom 8:34, praying our faith will not fail, that we stay connected to Him (and therefore to all the other branches that are connected to The Vine, John 15:1-5, and once we turn to You, not only is the veil is taken away, 2 Cor 3:16, so that with unveiled face we may be transformed from glory to glory, from the work of The Lord The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 3:18, so that we may from that position of refreshing by abiding in Your presence, Acts 3:19, bear fruit, John 15:7-8, and strengthen others, Lk 22:32, introducing them to Christ's love through the ministry of reconciliation as Ambassadors of The New Creation, 2 Cor 5:14-21.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the (uncreated) love of God, which is being in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:27-29.

🧎🏻We ask these things in accordance Your will, Matt 12:50, which is Your Word, Luke 8:21, knowing that is what You hear, and when You hear, we have the requests we've asked, 1 Jn 5:14-15. With thanksgiving we make these requests known, Phil 4:6, thanking You in advance, Mk 11:24, with the promise that the peace of God which passes all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. Thank You again in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, The Amen, The Faithful Witness and Originator of This New Creation, Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20. 🙌

We stand together in deep reverence and awe of our Lord, who has given us His Word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path in these tumultuous times. The Scriptures you have shared are a powerful reminder of the days we are living in, and we join with you in seeking the strength, endurance, and faithfulness required to stand firm in Christ.

The shaking of nations, the birth pangs of a new creation, and the trials that lie ahead are not to be feared but faced with the unshakable confidence that comes from abiding in Him. Jesus Himself warned us of these things so that we would not be caught unaware or deceived. "See to it that no one misleads you. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many" (Matthew 24:4-5 WEB). The deception in these last days is subtle and pervasive, but we are called to be alert, sober-minded, and rooted in the truth of God’s Word.

We are also reminded that the love of many will grow cold because of lawlessness (Matthew 24:12). This is a sobering warning, for it is only by abiding in Christ that our love remains fervent and our faith unshaken. "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me" (John 15:4 WEB). The fruit we bear, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, is evidence of our connection to the Vine. Without Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).

The call to watch and pray is not passive; it is an active, daily surrender to the Lordship of Christ. "But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man" (Luke 21:36 WEB). This strength is not our own but comes from the Holy Spirit, who empowers us to endure, to rejoice in suffering, and to remain steadfast even when the world around us is crumbling. The apostle Paul declares, "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 WEB). This is the resilience of those who are anchored in Christ.

We must also guard our hearts against the distractions of this world, dissipation, drunkenness, and the worries of life, which can weigh us down and make us unprepared for the day of the Lord (Luke 21:34). Instead, we are called to live as ambassadors of the new creation, reconciling the world to Christ through the message of the Gospel (2 Corinthians 5:17-20). The trials we face are not in vain; they are the refining fire that purifies our faith and prepares us for the glory that is to come.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word, which prepares us for the days ahead. We thank You for the promise that all things that can be shaken will be removed, so that only the unshakable kingdom remains (Hebrews 12:27-28). Lord, we ask for the strength to endure the birth pangs of this age, knowing that they are leading to the new creation in Christ. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit so that we may abide in You and bear much fruit for Your glory.

Father, we pray for discernment to recognize deception and the wisdom to stand firm in the truth. Protect us from the schemes of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. Guard our hearts from the love of the world and the distractions that would draw us away from You. Help us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), who endured the cross for the joy set before Him.

Lord, we ask for boldness to proclaim the Gospel in the midst of persecution and trials. Let our lives be a testimony to Your faithfulness, and may we strengthen our brothers and sisters in the faith, just as You have strengthened us. We declare that nothing can separate us from Your love, neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, nor sword (Romans 8:35-39). We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

Father, we surrender our lives, our families, our churches, and our nations into Your hands. Prepare us for the day when we will stand before the Son of Man, blameless and holy, because of the blood of Jesus that cleanses us from all sin. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. Amen.

Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful (Hebrews 10:23). The trials of this world are temporary, but the kingdom we inherit is eternal. Stand firm, beloved, and let us encourage one another as we see the Day approaching. "Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord’s work, because you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB).

We’ve been sitting with your prayer, and what stands out is how it weaves together such a sweeping awareness of global shakings with a deep ache simply to abide in Jesus and not be swept away. That kind of watchfulness can feel heavy to carry alone. Sometimes the call to “stay alert” can slide into a relentless mental scanning of events, and the weight of it crowds out the very nearness we’re guarding.

What we’ve seen, in our own lives and in walking with others, is that prayer like this often does its deepest work when it becomes less about mustering vigilance and more about leaning into the strength that’s already holding us. When Jesus told the disciples to pray for strength to stand, he wasn’t sending them into a test they’d ace by grit. He was inviting them to stay close. So it’s okay if your alertness right now includes simply resting in the Vine, not just scanning the branches for signs of shaking. The abiding is the point.

One practical thing we’d gently offer: you’ve asked others to pray with you here, and that’s no small act. Let yourself really lean on that. When the imagery of birth pangs and global trembling feels overwhelming, remember you’re not watching alone. We are praying with you, and that shared prayer carries a comfort that outlasts our own ability to track every headline.

Jesus, we ask You to steady this dear person’s heart in the middle of a shaky world. Let the strength to stand before You come as a gift, not a burden to manufacture. Keep them from deception, yes, but also from the exhaustion of hypervigilance. Root them deeply in Your love that no shaking can touch, and give them daily bread, just enough for today, and a quiet mind that rests in You. In Your strong name, amen.

Your plea to abide in Christ, to escape the shakings of this present age and stand unashamed before the Son of Man, is the very cry of a soul taught of the Spirit. The birth pangs of the new creation are upon us, and the world groans, but you have laid hold of that which cannot be moved. Stand fast, then, in the hope of the gospel, and be not moved away from it, neither by the dazzle of intellect nor by the fear of man; for only Jesus Christ can save you, and He saves to the uttermost.

Remember that before the foundation of the world, He loved you with an everlasting love, and when you were yet in your sins, He gave His Son to bear them on the tree. The Father saw such an infinite payment in the death of Jesus that He forgets the sins for which His blood was shed, and casts them behind His back forever. If you are in Christ, no created thing can separate you from that uncreated love, not famine, nor earthquake, nor war, nor the trembling of nations. These are but the beginning of sorrows, the labor pains of a new heaven and a new earth wherein righteousness dwells.

Yet you must escape! You must flee to Christ as Lot fled from Sodom, not lingering, not questioning, not looking back. Your only safety is not in hiding in some corner of earthly security, but in running to the cleft of the Rock. Let your prayer be that of Ben-Hadad’s servants: “Your servant says, I pray You, let me live.” That humble cry, offered in sincere dependence, finds mercy in the heart of our King. He guides the meek with His eye; He instructs and teaches you in the way you should go. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith, for He endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

You have asked for strength to stand before the Son of Man in that day. What strength is this but the strength of His own indwelling life? Abide in Him, the true Vine, and you shall bring forth much fruit. The branch has no power of itself; it simply rests in the stem and lets the sap flow. So let His words abide in you, and you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done. Your prayer for daily bread, for connection to Christ, for joy in tribulation, and for boldness as an ambassador of reconciliation, these are all according to His will, and He hears you.

Do not be surprised at the fiery trial, as though some strange thing happened. The world hated Him, and it will hate you. Many false prophets arise, lawlessness abounds, and the love of many grows cold. But he that endures to the end shall be saved. This endurance is not a gritting of the teeth in legal resolve; it is the patient hope of the gospel, grounded on a covenant sealed with atoning blood. God’s goodness went before you long ere you knew Him, in the providences that hedged your path, in the conviction that brought you low, in the grace that drew you to the cross. And He who began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

Let the peace of God, which passes all understanding, garrison your heart and mind. Rejoice that you are counted worthy to share in the birth pangs of the coming age. The hour is at hand when the kingdoms of this world shall become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ. Until then, watch and pray, coveting above all things that unshakable kingdom, and serving your Master with faithful stewardship, that when He comes, He may find you so doing. The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray to escape the shakings, to stand before the Son, to abide in Him faithfully. This is a right prayer, but let us understand what these shakings are and why they come. Tribulation is not sent to destroy you but to perfect you. For the apostle says, “We glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope.” So do not despise the trial. The very thing you ask strength to escape is the furnace where God refines your faith. Consider the saints of old: David, Job, Joseph, and the apostles. Did they not shine more brightly in their dangers? In prisons, in hunger, in stripes, Paul learned that God’s grace was sufficient, for Christ’s power is made perfect in weakness. When he despaired even of life, it was so that he might trust not in himself but in God who raises the dead. So if you feel weak in these shakings, do not be dismayed. That weakness is the door through which divine strength enters. The thorn in your flesh, the turmoil around you, these are the very means by which you learn to abide in the Vine.

You long to stand before the Son of Man. And how will you stand? Not by your own strength, but by holding fast to Him who first stood for you. We have a High Priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities? He endured all things and then ascended, so that He might sympathize with us. When your heart is heavy with the worries of this life, when the world shakes and nations roar, remember that He too knew anguish, that He felt the full weight of human frailty, and now He intercedes for you. Your prayer to abide in Him is answered already in His promise: “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you will.” The branch does not cling by its own grip; it is held by the root. The Father purges the branch so it may bear more fruit. These shakings are the purging. Endure them, and you will find your love growing warmer, not colder, as the love of many will in those days.

And what of the birth pangs of the new creation? The present distress is but the beginning. The sun will be darkened, the powers shaken, but the words of the Lord stand forever. Do not be deceived by those who cry peace when there is no peace, nor be terrified by wars and rumors of wars. These things must take place. Keep on the alert, praying always, and let not your heart be weighed down with dissipation. The tribulation of those days will be shortened for the elect’s sake. So set your mind on the unshakable kingdom you are receiving. For though heaven and earth pass away, nothing created can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Let the example of the apostles be your comfort: in much patience, in stripes, in imprisonments, they were accounted as deceivers yet true, as having nothing yet possessing all things. So you too, if you endure to the end, will be saved. The Gospel will be proclaimed, and then the end shall come.

Therefore, do not simply ask to escape everything, but to be counted worthy to suffer for His name, for the power of Christ rests on the afflicted. When you are reviled, bless; when persecuted, endure; when your own strength fails, then you are strong. The Lord Himself prayed that your faith might not fail. He has given you His word, His Spirit, and an eternal inheritance. What then can shake you? Nothing, if you abide. So lift up your head, for your redemption draws near.
