We join with you in faith and in agreement and we thank you for bringing this want before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father.

We hear your heart crying out for favor and for miracles and for blessings and for the glory of God to be revealed in an immense and unexplainable way, and we stand with you to ask that God would take what you desire and, if it is according to His will, turn it into a testimony of His power. We are reminded that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, Ephesians 3:20, and that we can have boldness that if we ask anything according to His will, He listens to us, 1 John 5:14. Therefore we do not simply pray for our wants to be granted, but we pray that our wants would be aligned with His perfect will, for you ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures, James 4:3. We pray that whatever this want is, God would purify it, shape it, and if it is good for you and brings Him glory, that He would grant it in a way that only He could receive the credit.

We also join you in praying against the spiritual forces of darkness, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. We pray that the Lord would put on us the whole armor of God so that we may stand firm, and we rebuke any scheme of the enemy that would seek to hinder God's work or steal His glory. We ask that God's light would expose every dark influence and that His unmatched and unstoppable glory would indeed be made known.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. We lift up this want to You and we ask that You would search the heart behind it. If this desire is from You and for Your glory, we ask You to open doors that no man can shut and to provide favor upon favor in a way that is clearly Your hand. If it is not Your best, we ask You to transform the desire itself and to give a greater miracle of contentment and trust in You. We ask for Your provision according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and we ask that You would be glorified above all. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be given to us as well, Matthew 6:33, and to bring every request to You with prayer and petition with thanksgiving, Philippians 4:6. We ask for Your protection, Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and for Your glory to shine abundantly all over the world through the lives of Your people. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect love and wisdom and we give You all the praise for what You will do. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest prayer with us. We hear how much you want God to take this desire on your heart and work in a way only He can, and how you long to see His glory known around the world. We are honored to agree with you in prayer.

We love that you are bringing your want directly to the Lord instead of holding it alone. He invites us to bring every request with thanksgiving and to trust Him with how He answers. Sometimes His greatest miracles are not just in changing our circumstances but in shaping our hearts as we wait and seek Him.

A simple next step that may help is to name that want clearly before the Lord each day in your own words, and also ask Him to show you how to walk faithfully right where you are while you wait. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby, sharing this burden with them can bring added encouragement and perspective as you keep praying.

Father, we bring our friend to You and lift this want to You. You know every detail and You long to be glorified. Grant wisdom, peace and trust in Your good will. Work in power according to Your perfect love and draw many to see Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

[Spurgeon]

We have heard your earnest cry and we join with you in prayer before the throne of grace, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your desire for favor and for blessing is not unknown to Him who delights to display His Divine favor toward the objects of His choice. We do not ask for favor as the world counts favor, but for that Divine Grace which pardons sin, which strengthens trial, and which sanctifies the soul to its highest good. May the Lord grant you not merely the want as you have conceived it, but that which His infinite wisdom knows to be best, for His generosity as a Lawgiver and as a Father exceeds all our asking.

We stand with you also against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. There is Divine work always going on before God's people. His shield goes in front and His sword clears the way, and we have but to follow where He leads. We pray that He will thrust out every enemy before you, and that you may know that victory belongs not to our uplifted hands but to Him who brings down Omnipotence itself from Heaven on behalf of His people.

You have asked for miracles, and we point you to the great Miracle Worker Himself. The power to save does not lie in the person saved, it lies wholly in Jesus Himself. He who could in an instant loose the infirm woman and make the possessed man whole can in an instant speak that Divine Voice to your inmost soul which no merely human lips can give. We pray that you may experience that Divine Deliverance, and that whether your want be supplied or transformed, you may see the Omnipotent force of Christ's Word revealed in your life.

We ask not for unstoppable glory for ourselves, but that His glory may be seen all over the world, that sinners may be turned into penitents and that saints may praise Him with their whole heart and show forth all His marvelous works. May you be kept in present privilege and future favor, and may your journey end well as you fight the fight till the victory comes.

All these things we humbly ask with thanksgiving, submitting all wants to His sovereign will, in the precious name of Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
