Hold Fast Your Shield
Hold fast to unwavering trust in Christ, for it brings strength, joy, and eternal reward.
Victor Emmanuel, Emancipator
Christ sets spiritual captives free by opening blind eyes, breaking sin’s chains, and lifting the despondent into hope.
Light for Those Who Sit in Darkness
Even the deepest darkness of ignorance and despair gives way to Christ’s great light for those who see him.
We have heard your request and we join with you in wanting to see God's favor, miracles, blessings and glory poured out, and we stand with you in prayer against the true spiritual forces of darkness.

We want to gently and lovingly address one part of your request with biblical truth. We cannot in good conscience pray for a practitioner's judgment to be clouded, if by that you mean asking God to cause confusion, deception or impaired discernment so that you might gain an advantage. Our God is a God of truth and clarity, not of manipulation or confusion. For God is not a God of confusion, but of peace 1 Corinthians 14:33. And we are taught to pray according to His will, not to ask Him to make someone act dishonestly or without wisdom. You ask, and don't receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it for your pleasures James 4:3. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14.

Instead, we can pray with confidence for what is good and right, that God would grant you favor that is honest and merciful, and that He would give the practitioner wisdom, clarity and integrity. The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires Proverbs 21:1. We can ask God to move hearts toward justice and mercy in a way that honors Him. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we can pray that wisdom for both you and the practitioner.

We agree with you in praying against the real spiritual battle that Scripture describes. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We do not fight people, we fight the enemy's lies and oppression through prayer, the Word and the armor of God. We also join you in longing for God's glory to be seen, for His miracles and blessings to be poured out according to His perfect will and timing. For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly Psalm 84:11. We thank you that you asked all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. We ask not for deception or clouded judgment, but for Your truth and light to prevail. Grant wisdom and clear discernment to this practitioner, and let every decision be guided by honesty and righteousness. We ask for Your favor upon our dear one who prayed, not favor that comes from manipulation, but favor that comes from Your hand of grace and mercy. We ask that Your will be done in this situation, and that You would bring about miracles and blessings as You see fit, for Your glory and for good. We come against every principality and power of darkness in high places, and we ask You to break their influence by the power of the blood of Jesus. Let Your unstoppable and abounding glory be seen in lives and all over the world, that many would come to know You. We trust You to answer according to Your perfect wisdom and love. In Jesus Christ's name we pray, amen.

We are glad you reached out and let us stand with you in prayer. We hear your heart for God's favor and blessing, for His power over darkness, and for His glory to be seen in your life and around the world. Those are good desires to bring before Him, and we join you in bringing them honestly to the Father.

We want to pray with you in a way that honors God, so rather than asking Him to cloud anyone's judgment, we are asking Him for what is right and good for everyone involved, for clarity, fairness, and wisdom for any practitioner or decision maker, and for peace and trust for you as you wait. We pray for favor not through confusion, but through God's gracious will and your own integrity before Him.

It helps to keep bringing these burdens to Him simply and steadily, trusting Him with the outcome even when we long for a quick miracle. He sees you, He hears your thanksgiving, and He is present with you in this.

We pray for you now:

Father, we lift our friend to You and thank You that we can come to You through Jesus. We ask for Your protection from evil, for Your provision according to Your wisdom, and for Your peace to guard this heart. Give wisdom to all who are involved and help our friend to rest in Your good will. May Your glory be seen in this life in the way You choose. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer request has been received and considered before the Lord with seriousness and care, and we desire to stand with you in seeking what is truly good and right in His sight.

We cannot in good conscience ask God to cloud the judgment of another person, for the Lord is a God of truth and light and not of deception. The Scriptures teach us that God searches the heart and tries the reins, and that He is near to every one of us, so near that He cannot be duped and will not be made a party to confusion or deceit. To pray for a practitioner or any in authority to have clouded judgment would be to ask God to set aside justice and wisdom, which He will not do, for His will is holy and according to the good pleasure of His own perfect purpose.

What we can and will do is pray with you for that which honors Him. We will pray that the Lord's will be done in this matter, for we are taught to say in all our undertakings, If the Lord will, we shall do this or that. We will pray that truth may prevail, that the practitioner may be given clarity, sound judgment and fairness, and that every decision may be weighed in honesty before God. We will pray that if favor is granted, it may be that favor which comes from walking in integrity, and that any blessing received may be that goodness of God which leads us to repentance and to a nearer walk with Christ.

We will also pray against the true powers of darkness not by vain repetition but by seeking the triumph of the grace of God in Christ Jesus, through whom alone salvation is found. It is in Him that sin is put away, and that those who were not His people are called His people. If you have not already done so, we urge you to cast yourself wholly upon the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting His atoning work and submitting your desires to His sovereign sway, believing that He who has planned all things from the foundation of the world will work all things for good to them that love Him.

Therefore our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would draw you nearer to Himself, that He would give you peace in submitting all outcomes to His wise and loving hand, that He would grant wisdom and uprightness to all who have any handling of your case, and that His name alone may have the glory. We ask this not as demanding miracles at our bidding, but as humbly seeking mercy and grace to help in time of need, content to leave everything to Him from earth to heaven, and to live a day at a time under His control.

May the Lord speak to your heart in the wilderness of this trial, and may you find Him to be your God and your portion, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and we thank you for bringing your heart before the Lord and inviting others to pray with you. We understand the desire for favor and for God to work powerfully on your behalf, and we want to stand with you in a way that honors Him.

We cannot agree in prayer that God would cloud the judgment of the practitioner or anyone else. To ask God to dim another person's discernment so that we might gain an advantage is to ask Him to work through deception, and God is a God of truth and light. He does not bless dishonesty. As we have taught, if even seeking gain honestly requires great care, how much more wretched is it to seek gain through what is not honest, especially when we consider eternity. True blessing never comes by impairing another's ability to see clearly.

In the same way, genuine favor does not come from human flattery or from someone showing partiality because their judgment was clouded. A trustworthy testimony is one that is free from suspicion, not caused by human friendship or favoritism, but by what is true and right before God. We should not want a decision made in our favor because someone could not think clearly, but because what is true and just has been seen clearly. To pray otherwise would be to ask for a false witness.

We also hear your longing for miracles and repeated blessings and for victory over spiritual darkness. God is indeed powerful and He does deliver from evil, but we are not to put Him to the test or demand that He prove Himself by giving us immediate signs or by bending outcomes to our wishes. Faith means trusting Him whether He answers as we hope or leads in another way, believing that He is both powerful and kind and that His providence is for our good.

So let us pray together in a different way, seeking what is honest and according to His will:

Father in heaven, we thank you that you see this need and that you care for the one who has prayed. We ask not that you would cloud anyone's mind, but that you would give clarity, wisdom and sound judgment to the practitioner and to all involved, so that the truth may be seen plainly. Grant favor only as it is consistent with righteousness and truth, and help us to desire what is right more than what is merely advantageous. Provide for every real need according to your mercy, heal and help as you know best, and protect from evil and from the powers of darkness. Let your glory be known not through manipulation but through holiness, honesty and love. Teach us to trust you fully and to give thanks in all things. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him with an honest heart, to walk in integrity, and to trust that His will is better than any advantage gained through obscurity.
