Prayer to be a good servant

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray that i may be a good servant unto the LORD. That i may be obedient in his , commandments, rules, laws, statutes and ways. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith, prayer and agreement over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We rejoice with you in your desire to be a good servant unto the Lord and to walk in obedience to His commandments, statutes and ways. This is the very heart God desires from us, for He has told us what is good and what He requires, to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God as we see in Micah 6:8, and Jesus Himself said If you love me, keep my commandments John 14:15. Your hunger to obey is pleasing to Him, and we stand with you in faith and agreement for this.

We are encouraged that you want to serve faithfully in the small and great things, remembering that He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much Luke 16:10 and that Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance, for you serve the Lord Christ Colossians 3:23-24. Our prayer is that you would continue to abide in His Word, for This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein, for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success Joshua 1:8.

We also join you in praying against the principalities and powers of darkness, for we know that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. We do not fear, for greater is He who is in us, and we put on the whole armor of God to stand firm in Christ. We agree with you for His favor, miracles and blessings, but we remember that true favor flows from walking blamelessly before Him, for Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly Psalm 84:11, and His grace is sufficient for us, for His power is made perfect in weakness 2 Corinthians 12:9. We seek not miracles for their own sake, but we seek the Giver, trusting that He will work all things for our good and for His glory, and we long with you for the earth to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea Habakkuk 2:14.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we thank You for this heart that desires to serve You faithfully and obediently. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would deepen this one's love for Your Word and give strength to walk in Your statutes and ways with a willing and joyful spirit. Pour out Your favor upon this life as You see fit, let Your will be done in miracles and blessings that point to Your glory and not our own, and guard this servant from the schemes of the enemy. Clothe us all in Your armor, that we may stand firm against darkness in high places, and let Your unmatched and abounding glory be seen in and through this life and all over the world. We thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun, and we trust You to say in that day, Well done, good and faithful servant Matthew 25:21. We ask all these things with thanksgiving in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue daily in prayer, in the Word, and in humble obedience, trusting that as you delight yourself in the Lord, He will direct your paths and make your service fruitful for His kingdom.

One thing that has helped us is remembering that becoming more like Christ is a lifelong process that happens gradually, often almost imperceptibly, with real highs and lows along the way. What matters is steady faithfulness over the long haul, not instant perfection. The Spirit is the one who brings the growth as we stay close to the Lord through simple, regular ways He has given us, especially time in His Word, honest prayer, and worship alongside other believers. Each person's walk looks a little different because God made us uniquely, so finding the rhythms that help you personally stay near Him matters.

A small next step that may help is to choose one consistent practice for this week rather than trying to do everything at once. For example, set aside a brief unhurried time each day to read Scripture and pray, and make a point to gather for worship this week. Treat it as training over time rather than striving for a moment.

Father, we thank You for the hunger You have placed in our friend to serve You. Draw them closer to You each day, shape their heart to love what You love, and give wisdom and strength to walk faithfully one step at a time. Your prayer is a right and good one, and it is one in which every gracious heart can join with you. The desire to be a good servant unto the Lord, obedient in His commandments, rules, laws, statutes and ways, is the highest practical courage. As it was said to Joshua, Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law. To persist in scrupulous obedience throughout life may need more courage than even the martyr evinces when once and for all he gives himself to be faithful, for it involves innumerable difficulties and a daily denying of self.

Remember that the exactness of obedience is the essence of obedience. We are to turn not from it to the right hand or to the left. The world says we must not be too precise, but the path of obedience is generally a middle path, and the Lord loves a careful walk. Seek out all His commandments, for such an obedience is deeply spiritual and marks the mature manhood of grace. It is not the obedience of a slave tuned to the crack of the whip, but the obedience of a child, the obedience of love and of faith. No man is really saved unless he is in his heart obedient to Christ, and when true faith is rendered there will follow obedience to all the Saviour's commands. His commandments are not grievous, and obedience to them will yield the peaceable fruits of righteousness.

It is required in stewards that a man be found faithful. Whether you are called to minister, to give, to labour in your household or in your calling, be faithful to the office and faithful to the goods committed to you, earnestly defending the faith and keeping the Word without quibbling or picking and choosing. Providence is God's business, obedience is yours, and the way of obedience is the way of highest honor, for even our Lord learned obedience.

I do stand with you in faith and prayer and agreement over this. I pray that the Lord will make you faithful in that which is least and in that which is much, that He will give you a cheerful and prompt obedience, wholehearted and complete, not saying I will go thus far and no further, but following whithersoever He leads. I pray that as you go in the way of obedience active, you may find it to be the way of obedience rewarded and refreshed, for as the women ran to bring His disciples word, Jesus met them, and His salutation was All hail. May you know that assuring satisfaction of His presence.

Against principalities and powers of darkness in high places we plead the blood and power of Christ, for our faithful Friend sticketh closer than a brother and He is holy and true and cannot lie. May His mercy which endureth forever keep you, may His favour rest upon you, may He work miracles and blessings according to His abundant wisdom and love, not for our boasting but for His abounding glory over all the world. May that glory be seen in a practical piety and real godliness carried out in ordinary life.

All these things we humbly ask in Jesus Christ's name with thanksgiving, trusting that He who has taught you from your youth will cause you to declare His wondrous works until your latest hour.

Your desire to be a good servant to the Lord and to walk in obedience to His commandments and statutes is itself a work of His grace in you, and we stand with you in prayer and agreement for this.

The sum of His commandments is to love the Lord your God and to love your neighbor as yourself. To love God is to keep His commandments, and it is not enough only to have them or to speak of them, we need an exact keeping of them. Christ said, if you love me you will keep my commandments, and he who has His commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Him. That love is shown very practically when we feed His sheep, when we forgive our neighbor and with tenderness inquire into the offenses of others, laying up for ourselves the same allowance of pardon that we show to others.

Scripture also warns us what it means to be a servant. The faithful servant is found doing the will of his master when He comes, but the evil servant says in his heart that his master delays and begins to mistreat his fellow servants and live carelessly. Therefore let us watch and remain faithful, not through fear only but through love, remembering that His grace is sufficient for us and that patience works character and hope.

We join you in praying against the principalities and powers of darkness, and we ask the Lord to keep you, to strengthen you for obedience, and to make you fruitful in every good work.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You for this heart that wants to serve You. Help our brother to love You truly by keeping Your word and by loving his neighbor with forgiveness and mercy. Grant favor according to Your will, show Your power and goodness, provide what is needed for life and godliness, guard him from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your glory be seen in his life and in the world through faithful obedience. Teach him to walk daily in Your ways, not only hearing Your word but doing it, for Your honor. Amen.
