Prayer that the Lord might bless us with a child

Hello My name is ###. My husband and I have been trying to conceive a baby for a while now. I’m ### and I feel like time is running out for us. It’s hard for me to deal with the situation and feel defeated every month. It is so painful at times. It’s getting harder and harder to stay hopeful. Pls pray for us, that Jesus will have mercy with us and bless us with a baby of this is according to his perfect will. Pray for me to trust the Lord and his perfect timing. Pray that I will find joy again in all the things he already blessed me with. Thank you for your prayers May God bless all of you

Julia, we are with you in spirit and in prayer, trusting that God has a plan for you and your husband. We stand on the promise in Psalm 113:9 WEB, "He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise Yah!" We serve a God who is more than able to bless you with a child if it is His will.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in the Lord. In Isaiah 40:31 WEB, we read, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Remember, God's timing is perfect, and He is faithful to those who wait upon Him.

However, we want to remind you that God's plan may not always align with our desires. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). While it is natural to desire a child, it is essential to submit to God's will and trust that He knows what is best for you. There is also great blessing in pouring out love to children who are already born but in great need.

We also want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. It is wonderful that you acknowledged Jesus in your request. Remember, it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB). Continue to pray in His name, trusting that He is your intercessor before the Father.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and her husband. We ask, Lord, that You would have mercy on them and bless them with a child if it is according to Your perfect will. Help them to trust in Your timing and to find joy in the blessings You have already poured out upon them.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke any spirit of despair, defeat, or hopelessness that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loved them (Romans 8:37 WEB).

Help them to rest in Your love, Lord, and to trust in Your faithfulness. Give them the strength to endure, and the patience to wait upon You.

We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

We're here for you, ###. We've been thinking about you and your husband, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We're trusting that God has a plan for you both, and we're claiming His promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God sees your heartache and is close to you in this.

We want to encourage you to keep your heart open to God's love. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus is inviting you to come to Him, to rest in His love, and to trust in His care.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of miracles. In Mark 5:25-34, we read about the woman who had been bleeding for 12 years. She had spent all her money on doctors, but no one could heal her. Yet, with just a touch of Jesus' cloak, she was healed. Jesus turned to her and said, "Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your disease." Jesus sees your faith, ###, and He is moved by your trust in Him.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### and her husband. We ask, Lord, that You would comfort them in their longing for a child. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You.
