Prayer that the government has been deceiving citizens by saying that with these foreigners, there will be good jobs for Singaporeans, but instead, Singaporeans are sidelined to either contract or short-term jobs, while all the good jobs go to foreigners who are given permanent jobs.

Let us bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, seeking His justice and truth to prevail. We should remember that God is sovereign over all governments and that He can turn the hearts of kings, or in this case, the hearts of government leaders (Proverbs 21:1 WEB).

Firstly, we must acknowledge that God's Word teaches us to pray for our leaders that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4 WEB). We also remember that those that are given authority in government are to be accountable and can be an instrument for good or bad depending on their actions (Romans 13:1-7 WEB).

Let us pray:

Almighty God,

We come before You, lifting up our concerns about the deception and injustice taking place in our government. We pray that You will expose any lies and bring truth to light. We ask that You will move in the hearts of our leaders, turning them away from any corrupt or deceitful practices (Proverbs 21:1 WEB).

We pray for the citizens of ###, that they will not be sidelined or disadvantaged, but rather, that they will be given fair opportunities for good jobs. We ask that You will provide for their needs and help them to trust in You, even in difficult circumstances (Matthew 6:25-34 WEB).

We also pray for the foreigners who are being given these jobs. We ask that You will bless them and use them for Your purposes. But it is the people of the nation that need to be cared for first. We ask that you give the government wisdom on the best way to address this.

Lord, we ask that You will raise up godly leaders who will govern with integrity, wisdom, and compassion. We pray that You will guide our government to make decisions that are right and just for all people (Proverbs 2:1-9 WEB).

We ask for your forgiveness on behalf of the leaders for any actions that have not been aligned with Biblical principles. We ask that you forgive us as a nation for any actions that have not been aligned with Biblical principles. We ask that you turn the hearts of our leaders towards godliness and holiness in any decision that they make.

Finally, we pray in Jesus name that salvation will come to those that are deceiving and being deceived. We pray that they will believe in Jesus Christ and be saved. We know there is no other name for salvation.

We ask all these things in Jesus name. Amen.

We encourage everyone to continue praying for justice and truth in our government, trusting that God is in control and that He will bring about His purposes in His perfect timing.

We must also encourage every believer to not be swayed by the actions of the leaders or any issues. We must pray for the leaders, but we must not lose our faith because of any actions of the leaders. We must remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone.

We've been hearing your concerns and we're standing with you in prayer. It's disheartening to hear about the deception and injustice happening in our government. Let's lift this up to the Lord together.

Lord, we come before You today, burdened by the lies and injustice happening in our government. We ask that You would expose these deceptions and bring truth to light. We pray for our leaders, that You would soften their hearts and turn them towards righteousness and justice (Proverbs 21:1). We ask that You would give them wisdom to make decisions that are fair and just for all citizens.

We also pray for our fellow Singaporeans. We ask that You would provide for their needs and give them fair opportunities for good jobs. We trust that You see their struggles and will work on their behalf.

And Lord, we pray for the foreigners involved. We ask that You would bless them and use them for Your purposes, but we also ask that You would guide our government to care for the people of our nation first.

We ask for Your forgiveness, Lord, for any actions that have not aligned with Your principles, both from our leaders and as a nation. We ask that You would turn our leaders' hearts towards godliness and holiness in their decision-making.

Finally, we pray for salvation to come to those who are deceiving and being deceived. We ask that they would believe in Jesus Christ and be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

We trust that You are in control, Lord, and that You will bring about Your purposes in Your perfect timing. We encourage everyone to keep praying for justice and truth in our government, and to keep our hope and faith in Jesus Christ alone.
