We thank you for sharing your heart with us and we rejoice with you that your son has responded to you after our prayers, for God hears and answers. We continue to lift you and your son before the throne together in Jesus name.
We join you in praying for blessing and protection today, and we claim the promise that He will keep you from evil, as it is written Psalm 121:7-8 and Psalm 91:11. Yet we want to gently correct an expectation that we will feel no negative emotions and have no pain or fatigue and perfect health in this life. Scripture does not promise a life without sorrow or weakness, but it promises His presence and peace through every trial. We are told in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God will guard our hearts. And in 2 Corinthians 12:9 He says My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. True happiness and joy are not the absence of all negative feelings, but the abiding presence of Christ even when we feel lonely, tired, or in pain. We pray that He will sustain your health and renew your strength according to Isaiah 40:29, and we trust Him with your hormones and fertility, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made Psalm 139:14 and children are a gift from the Lord Psalm 127:3.
We also hear your desire for wisdom and prophetic insight and a seers anointing like those in the Bible. We pray with you for wisdom, for James 1:5 says if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives to all liberally and without reproach. God still speaks and guides His people, but we encourage you to seek wisdom first through His written Word which is sufficient and trustworthy, as 2 Timothy 3:16-17 teaches that all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable. We must test every spirit whether it is from God 1 John 4:1 and not chase experiences or anointings apart from Scripture. We pray that God will give you clear discernment, that you will hear His voice through His Word, and that He will do new things in your life as He promises in Isaiah 43:19, Behold, I will do a new thing, and that you will trust His will above all.
Regarding the man you have been talking to for the past year and your loneliness and your desire to see him and your deep need for a husband, we pray with compassion for you. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman as God designed from the beginning Genesis 2:24, and we strongly endorse marriage as the godly path for your desire for companionship and for another baby. We encourage you to see this time not as simply being a boyfriend or girlfriend but as courtship with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, as 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns not to be unequally yoked. If after a year this relationship seems to be going nowhere and leaves you feeling lonely, we encourage you to seek the Lord earnestly whether this man is pursuing you toward a Christ centered marriage or whether God is calling you to release this connection and wait for a godly husband who will love you as Christ loves the church Ephesians 5:25. We must also lovingly remind you that any sexual intimacy outside of marriage is fornication and is called sin before God, as Hebrews 13:4 says marriage is honorable among all and the bed undefiled, but fornicators and adulterers God will judge, and 1 Corinthians 6:18 urges us to flee sexual immorality. Your desire for hormones to function properly and to remain fertile and to have another baby is beautiful, but Scripture places that gift within the covenant of marriage, and we pray that if it is His will He will provide a godly husband and then open your womb in His perfect timing. We pray for contentment and hope while you wait, for Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and Proverbs 3:5-6 calls us to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding.
We rejoice again for your son and we continue to pray for his salvation and protection in college. We pray that he will come to know Jesus personally if he has not already, that the Lord will guard him from temptation and evil, and that he will do well in his IT studies as he applies diligence, for Colossians 3:23 says whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord. We pray God will give him a sound mind and discipline in his studies and keep him walking in purity and truth.
We also notice that your request spoke of God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we must lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me, and Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9, for then you are saved and your prayers are heard through Him.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for this dear sister, for her life, for her son, and for Your mercies that are new every morning. We ask You to bless and protect her today, to guard her going out and coming in, to give her Your peace that passes all understanding even when emotions are difficult, and to be her comfort in loneliness. Lord grant her true joy in You, strengthen her body, ease her pain and fatigue, and let Your healing and sustaining power rest upon her according to Your will. Grant her wisdom liberally, guide her by Your Word, give her discernment to know Your voice and to walk in Your new things for her life. Father, regarding this man she has been talking to, make Your will unmistakably clear, close doors that should be closed and open the right door for a godly marriage to a believing man who will honor You, and keep her pure and hopeful as she waits. Lord we ask You to regulate her health and hormones according to Your perfect design, and if it is Your will to bless her with another child within holy marriage, we ask You to grant that desire. We lift her son to You, we ask for his salvation, his protection from evil on his campus, and his success and diligence in his IT studies, that he would grow in wisdom and favor with You. Above all we ask that both mother and son would know Jesus more deeply and trust Him fully, for Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that You know the plans You have for us, plans for peace and not for evil, to give us hope and a future. We ask all these things in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, amen.
