We stand with you in this spiritual battle, recognizing the reality of the forces of darkness that seek to oppose the work of God. The Word of God reminds us in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We take up the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:13-18, to stand firm against the schemes of the enemy.
First, we rebuke every principality and power of darkness that is seeking to oppress or deceive you. In the name of Jesus Christ, we command these forces to flee, for James 4:7 declares, "Be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." We pray that the blood of Jesus, which cleanses us from all sin and breaks every chain, would cover you and create a hedge of protection around you. Revelation 12:11 tells us, "They overcame him because of the Lamb’s blood, and because of the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life, even to death."
We also pray for discernment and wisdom, that the Holy Spirit would guide you and reveal any areas in your life where the enemy may have gained a foothold. Hebrews 4:12 says, "For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart." We ask that God would search your heart and reveal anything that needs to be confessed and repented of, so that you may walk in the light and have fellowship with Him (1 John 1:5-7).
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, the belt of truth, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and requests, and be watchful in this with all perseverance (Ephesians 6:14-18).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the victory that we have in Christ, who has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We pray for our brother/sister in Christ, who is facing spiritual warfare. We ask that You would surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 declares, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."
Lord, we pray that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Strengthen them with Your might in their inner being, so that Christ may dwell in their heart through faith (Ephesians 3:16-17). We ask that You would give them a fresh revelation of Your love and protection, so that they may not fear, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against their life, mind, body, and spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would break every chain of darkness and set them free from any oppression or bondage. We speak life, peace, and victory over their situation, in the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment to recognize the enemy's tactics and to stand firm in their faith. Help them to put on the full armor of God daily and to wield the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word. We pray that they would be rooted and grounded in Your love, so that they may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19).
We thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that the enemy is under our feet, and we walk in the authority that You have given us as Your children. We pray that You would use this situation to draw our brother/sister closer to You and to strengthen their faith. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray and declare that the light of Your glory will shine in this darkness, and that every principality and power of darkness will be exposed and defeated. We stand together in faith, knowing that You are faithful and that You will complete the good work that You have begun in us (Philippians 1:6). Amen.
