We stand with you in this time of spiritual warfare, recognizing that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We take authority over every scheme of the devil in the mighty name of Jesus, for He has given us the power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19).
Holy Spirit, we welcome Your leading and Your nudges as You guide us in prayer. You intercede for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26), and we trust in Your perfect will. We declare that no weapon formed against you or your loved ones shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). The blood of Jesus covers you, and through His sacrifice, we have been redeemed and set free from the power of sin and death (1 Peter 1:18-19).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, confusion, and oppression in the name of Jesus. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We plead the blood of Jesus over your mind, your heart, your home, and your circumstances. Let the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we ask that You surround this dear one with Your angels, that they may encamp around them and protect them from every attack of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may stand firm in the armor You have provided: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your Word (Ephesians 6:13-17).
We pray for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon them, that they may be filled with boldness, wisdom, and discernment to recognize and resist the enemy’s tactics. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may the enemy’s plans be exposed and thwarted. We declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
Lord, we also lift up any areas of their life where they may have unknowingly given the enemy a foothold. Search their heart, O God, and know their thoughts. See if there is any wicked way in them, and lead them in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is any sin, unforgiveness, or bitterness, we ask that You bring it to light and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from it. For if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
We stand on the promise that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18), and we declare that you are more than a conqueror through Him who loved you (Romans 8:37). We thank You, Father, for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Continue to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Put on the full armor of God daily, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He will fight for you. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and remember that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6). You are not alone in this fight—we stand with you, and more importantly, the Lord of hosts is with you.
