We join with you in prayer and thank you for allowing us to stand with you before the Lord for your parents and your family.
We are encouraged by your heart for your parents that they would truly encounter the Lord Jesus Christ, hear His voice, repent and know Him. This is the very heart of God, for He desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth as we read in 1 Timothy 2:4, and He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance in 2 Peter 3:9. We pray that the Lord will soften their hearts and give them a new heart and a new spirit as promised in Ezekiel 36:26, and that they will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd, for Jesus said My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me in John 10:27. We encourage you to continue to love them, to speak the truth in love, and to let your life be a testimony of the grace of Christ, trusting that God is drawing them and that He will work in His perfect timing.
We also stand with you against every plan and intention of the enemy against you and your family. We know that the enemy seeks to steal and destroy, but greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world in 1 John 4:4, and if God is for us, who can be against us in Romans 8:31. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail in Isaiah 54:17, for the Lord is faithful who will establish you and guard you from the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We agree with you that God will defeat every satanic deed and that He will be mightily glorified in your family, as you submit yourselves to God and resist the devil and he will flee from you in James 4:7.
We also lift up your request for wisdom, protection and a way out in every situation according to His will. God promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5, and that He will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go in Psalm 32:8. He is your refuge and fortress in Psalm 91:2, and He is faithful and will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we thank You for Your love and mercy. We lift up these dear parents to You and ask that You would open their eyes and their hearts to truly encounter Jesus, to hear His voice clearly, to repent of sin and to receive Him as Lord and Savior. Draw them by Your Holy Spirit, remove any hardness or veil, and bring them into the knowledge of Your truth and Your saving grace. We ask in Jesus name that every plan, deed and intention of the enemy against our brother or sister and their family be broken and defeated, and that You would be glorified mightily in their lives and home. Cover them with Your protection, surround them with Your angels, and let no evil prevail against them. Grant our dear fellow believer wisdom from above for every decision and situation, clear guidance, divine protection, and a way out according to Your perfect will. Lead them in the path You have prepared and give them peace and confidence that You are working all things for good. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and salvation, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. Amen.

It is a gracious and needful thing that you have laid your parents upon your heart and brought them before the throne of grace, and we join with you in earnest prayer for them.
We pray that the Lord Jesus Christ will indeed reveal Himself to them, that they may hear His voice and live. There is a repentance which is only the fruit of terror and gives no glory to God, a trembling of the flesh which soon returns to its sin as the dog to its vomit. We do not ask for such a repentance for your parents, but for that true repentance which is inseparable from faith. Repentance and faith are twin graces, the one purging the soul from dead works and the other filling it with Christ. May the Holy Spirit work in them that godly sorrow which pulls down the love of sin, and that living faith which looks unto Jesus and is saved, for it is written, Look unto me and be ye saved. We pray that repentance and remission of sins may be preached to them in Christ's name, and that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, receiving through His blood the forgiveness of sins and a true knowledge of the Lord which is not by proxy but by personal trust in Him alone, for there is salvation in no other.
Concerning the adversary and his designs, we take comfort that Satan is a defeated foe. He may hinder and assault and cast his fiery darts, and his temptations may dash upon the mind at unlooked for seasons, yet our Lord of the thorn crown has fought the enemy and bruised his head, and that victory was for His people. We pray with you that every satanic plan and deed and intention formed against you and your family shall be brought to nothing. As the Lord overthrew Sennacherib and drove Nebuchadnezzar from his pride, so may He scatter every device of the evil one, that He alone may be glorified and that you may see His hand as a shield about you.
And for yourself, we pray that the Lord will be your Guide. He empties us of our own conceits that He may fill us with His fulness, and make us wise with His wisdom. May He give you that heavenly wisdom which is clothed in love, and that acquiescence in the Divine will which is the secret of unerring guidance. He who wears the Urim and Thummim upon His breast will give you direction in every difficulty and dilemma, and will make a way of escape according to His perfect will, that you may be kept in His protection and walk in the path He appoints.
May the Lord hear this prayer, keep you all under the shadow of His wings, and bring your whole household to know and to glorify His name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
