We pray that their hearts would be softened to hear His voice, that the scales would fall from their eyes, and that they would turn from any unbelief or resistance to the saving knowledge of Christ. Father, we ask that You would draw them with cords of love, that they may repent and surrender their lives to You, for it is written, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44).
We also take authority over every satanic plan, deed, and intention aimed against you and your family. The Word declares, "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for a hedge of protection around you and your family, that the Lord would be a shield and fortress in every circumstance.
Lord, we ask that You grant wisdom to navigate every situation according to Your perfect will. James 1:5 assures us, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." We pray that You would illuminate the path before you, that You would provide clarity and discernment, and that You would make a way where there seems to be no way. The plain truth stands firm as the everlasting hills: salvation is by looking to Christ alone. Tell them, and plead with them, that whoever believes on Him shall not be put to shame. It is not by their own works or tears, but by depending entirely upon the Person of the crucified and risen Savior. Keep setting before them the free, common salvation, the wine and milk offered without money and without price. Christ Himself is God’s salvation; to see Him by faith is to possess eternal life. Press this upon them with gentle urgency, and leave the issue in the hands of Him who is mighty to save.
As for the evil devices you sense arrayed against you and your family, remember that our Captain has proclaimed perpetual war against the darkness. When Satanic hindrances fall upon you like a sudden blast, know that they are assaults from without, not the natural voice of your own renewed heart. The shield of faith will quench every fiery dart. The Lord who defeated the enemy in the wilderness and on the cross will crush Satan under your feet shortly. Stand still in the finished work of Jesus, and see the glory of God displayed in your deliverance. Do not grow weary; the battle is the Lord’s, and He will be glorified mightily in the overthrow of every wicked plan.
You seek wisdom, protection, and a way of escape. All these are stored up in Christ, who is made unto us wisdom from God. The path of safety is the path of simple faith and obedience. When you know not which way to turn, turn your eyes to the Captain of your salvation. He will make a way where there seems to be no way, according to His own will. Your own understanding will fail, but the childlike glance of trust never does. Cast your burden upon Him, and He shall sustain you. Your times are in His hand; your protection is His unchangeable love.
