We come before the Lord with you in this time of urgent need, lifting up your cry for justice and provision. It is deeply troubling to hear how this employer has withheld your rightful wages and treated you unfairly, showing partiality to others while taking advantage of your hard work. The Word of God speaks clearly about such injustice, and we stand with you in rebuking this unrighteousness while trusting the Lord to act on your behalf.
Scripture declares in **James 5:4**, *"Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you have kept back by fraud, cry out, and the cries of those who reaped have entered into the ears of the Lord of Armies."* Your labor is not unseen by God, and He hears your cry. The Lord detests dishonest scales and unjust dealings, as **Proverbs 11:1** reminds us: *"The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights are his delight."* This employer’s actions are not only unfair but sinful in the sight of God, who commands fairness and integrity in all dealings.
We also recall **Leviticus 19:13**, which states, *"You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* This is a direct command from the Lord, and we pray that conviction would fall upon this employer’s heart, leading to swift repayment of what is owed to you. If he refuses to repent, we trust that the Lord will hold him accountable, for **Galatians 6:7** warns, *"Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."*
At the same time, we encourage you to take practical steps in faith. If you have not already, document all the work you’ve done and the wages owed, and seek counsel on how to address this legally or through proper channels if necessary. **Proverbs 31:8-9** calls us to *"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed. Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice."* Do not be afraid to seek help from authorities or trusted individuals who can advocate for you.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through Christ that we have access to His throne of grace. **John 14:13-14** tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Salvation comes through repentance and belief in Him alone, as **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"*
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been treated unjustly and denied the wages they have rightfully earned. Lord, You see the toil of their hands and the unfairness they have endured. We ask that You would move powerfully in this situation, softening the heart of this employer so that they may repent of their greed and injustice. Compel them by Your Spirit to pay what is owed swiftly and fairly, for You are a God of justice, and You defend the cause of the oppressed.
Father, we also ask that You would provide for our brother/sister in this time of need. Open doors for honest work where they will be treated with dignity and paid justly. Give them wisdom to know how to proceed, whether through confrontation, legal means, or seeking counsel from godly individuals. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Just Judge.
We rebuke the spirit of greed and exploitation at work in this situation. No weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Let righteousness prevail, and let Your name be glorified through this trial.
Finally, Lord, if our brother/sister does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that this situation would draw them closer to You. May they place their trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and rest in the assurance that You will never leave them nor forsake them. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Do not grow weary in doing what is right, for **Galatians 6:9** assures us, *"Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don’t give up."* Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight. We are praying with you and for you, believing that God will bring justice and provision.
