Thank you for letting us know about this severe pain in your head and neck and the nausea that has kept you awake. We are praying for you and bringing this burden to the Lord with you.
We live in a world that was broken by sin from the beginning, and our bodies feel that brokenness. Scripture speaks of how we groan while we are in this body, longing to be free from weakness and pain and suffering. That groaning is real, and God understands it. He knows what it is to lie awake through the night because every movement brings pain, and He does not turn away from that cry.
That is why we are encouraged to carry everything to God in prayer. There is so much needless pain we bear when we try to carry it alone. Jesus invites us to bring even physical agony to Him, to cast our cares and our hurts upon Him because He cares for us. He hears when we tell Him about the pounding in our head, the ache at the base of the neck, the sickness that comes with it, and the weariness from no sleep.
We also remember that nothing is too hard for the Lord. The same power that could heal any great affliction is the same power that can touch a headache and neck pain and bring relief. The difficulty is never on His side. He is able, and He is compassionate, and we can trust His wisdom and love as we ask Him to act.
We are praying that God would touch you with His healing hand, ease the severe pain in your head and neck, calm the nausea, and grant you rest and sleep. We pray that He would give you peace in the midst of discomfort, comfort your heart, and strengthen you. We pray too for wisdom for any care you seek and for His presence to be very near to you, reminding you that this present suffering is not the end, for He has promised a day when there will be no more pain for those who belong to Him.
You are not alone in this. We continue to lift you before the Father in the name of Jesus, asking for His mercy, relief, and sustaining grace.
