We come before the Lord with you in this time of transition and need, lifting up your requests with faith and expectation, knowing that our God is sovereign over every detail of our lives. It is by the precious name of Jesus Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful you have brought these matters before Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let us first anchor ourselves in the truth of Scripture, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).
In the matter of your company and the lawsuit, we recognize the weight of this challenge and the need for divine wisdom. The Bible reminds us in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* This is not a time to lean on your own understanding, but to trust in the Lord with all your heart, acknowledging Him in all your ways, so that He may direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The decision about whether to retain a portion of the company for tax purposes or to move in a new direction must be bathed in prayer, seeking not just financial prudence but the Lord’s will above all. Remember, our treasure is not to be stored up on earth, but in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy (Matthew 6:19-21). We pray that God will give you clarity and discernment, guarding your heart against fear or greed, and that you would walk in integrity, for *"the integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them"* (Proverbs 11:3).
We also lift up your wife’s job interview, rejoicing with you in the hope that it went well. Yet, we must always surrender our desires to the Lord’s perfect will, trusting that He knows what is best for your family. *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this"* (Psalm 37:4-5). Whether this opportunity comes to fruition or another door opens, may you both rest in the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Let this season be a testament to your faith, that you would not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
For your family and marriage, we stand with you in praying for unity, love, and respect. A home built on the foundation of Christ is a fortress against the schemes of the enemy. *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain"* (Psalm 127:1). We urge you to lead your family in the ways of the Lord, teaching your children His statutes and commands (Deuteronomy 6:6-7). Let your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church—sacrificial, selfless, and steadfast (Ephesians 5:25-33). If there are any areas of strife or division, we encourage you to address them with humility and repentance, for *"a broken spirit and a contrite heart, God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17). Pray together as a family, for *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16).
In the realm of spiritual strength and protection, we must remind you that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers of darkness (Ephesians 6:12). Therefore, put on the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, the Gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17). The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus has come that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Do not give the devil a foothold through fear, doubt, or unconfessed sin. Instead, submit yourselves to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7). We pray a hedge of protection around your family, that no weapon formed against you would prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Lord would expose and thwart any schemes of the enemy aimed at harm or destruction.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their needs to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom to flood their minds as they navigate the complexities of this lawsuit and the transition from their company. Give them discernment to know whether to retain a portion for tax purposes or to step boldly into a new direction. May they seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to them (Matthew 6:33). Remove any fear or anxiety, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
We pray for favor and clarity regarding the job interview for this wife and mother. If it is Your will, Lord, open this door wide, and let Your favor rest upon her. But if You have another path, prepare her heart to receive it with joy and trust. May she and her husband be united in prayer, seeking Your will above all else.
For their marriage and family, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit. Bind them together in love, unity, and respect. Let their home be a place where Your presence dwells, where children are raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Strengthen their bond, Lord, and help them to model Christ-like love to their children and to one another.
We also pray for spiritual strength and protection over this family. Clothe them in Your armor, Lord, and help them to stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. Expose any schemes of darkness and render them powerless. Surround them with Your angels, and let no harm come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:9-11). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in victory and trust in Your perfect plan.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would draw each member of this family closer to Yourself. May they seek You with all their hearts, and find You faithful in every circumstance. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily through prayer, Scripture, and fellowship with other believers. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28). If there are areas in your life or marriage that need repentance or realignment with God’s Word, do not delay in addressing them. The Lord is gracious and merciful, ready to forgive and restore. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust Him to lead you every step of the way.
