We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for His steadfast love endures forever as Psalm 107:1 reminds us, and we rejoice with you in a thankful heart. We lift up your requests together before our Heavenly Father.
We pray for good rest for you. We know that true rest comes from the Lord and we ask Him to grant you peaceful sleep and renewal. As it is written in Psalm 4:8, I will both lay myself down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety. And Jesus invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. We pray that He will quiet your mind and body each night and restore your strength.
We bring before the Lord the health needs you mentioned, including the loved ones on your heart and those suffering with lung issues and heart issues. We ask for His healing touch and quick recovery according to His perfect will. We remember the promise in Psalm 103:3, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to Isaiah 53:5, But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. We pray that the Lord, who is our healer, would breathe strength into lungs and bring wholeness to the heart that is afflicted, and that He would comfort and sustain each person and family as they wait on Him.
We also hear your honest confession about lustful thoughts and we want to come alongside you with both grace and truth. God calls us to purity in thought and deed, and He provides a way to overcome temptation. Jesus taught in Matthew 5:28 that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart, showing how seriously God views the inner life. We are instructed in 1 Corinthians 6:18 to flee sexual immorality, and we are given hope that God is faithful. As 1 Corinthians 10:13 says, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it. We encourage you to take every thought captive as 2 Corinthians 10:5 teaches, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and to fill your mind with what is pure as Philippians 4:8 exhorts us, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, think about these things. We pray that you will guard your eyes and heart, stay rooted in the Word, and seek accountability and prayer when those thoughts arise, trusting that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you to walk in holiness.
We noticed you prayed to the Lord, and we gently want to remind you of the precious truth that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God and the assurance of salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We encourage you to always come in the name of Jesus, trusting in His finished work on the cross and His resurrection, believing in Him for forgiveness and eternal life.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy that follow us all our days. We are thankful you brought all of this to the Lord, starting with gratitude for His goodness. Carrying so many concerns at once for rest, for loved ones with lung and heart needs, and for your own struggle can be heavy, and we want to stand with you in prayer.
For rest and healing, we join you in asking God for renewed strength and quick recovery where He wills. If those with lung and heart issues have not already been seen recently, we gently encourage making sure they stay connected to their medical providers alongside prayer, and that you do the same for any ongoing health concerns of your own. It is good to bring both prayer and practical care before the Lord.
We also hear your honest desire to walk free from lustful thoughts. That honesty matters to God. When those thoughts come, it can help to turn to Him immediately in a brief prayer and to step away from whatever tends to stir them, inviting Him to renew your mind day by day.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Beloved of All
Your thanksgiving for the goodness of the Lord is comely and right, and we join you in it, for every good gift cometh down from the Father of lights. You have asked for good rest, for health, for healing of the lungs and of the heart, for quick healing, and for deliverance from lustful thoughts, and we bring these petitions before the throne of grace with you.
Concerning rest, hear the gracious invitation of our Lord, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. This is a present rest, rest now, not rest after death only, but rest given when we come to Jesus, given there and then. And there is a further rest which is found when we take His yoke upon us and learn of Him. True rest to the child of God is rest on the wing, rest in motion, rest in service, not with the yoke cast off, but with His yoke upon us, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Trust and you shall rest. We pray that the Lord will give you such rest, and that you will find more and more of that deep and abiding rest as your mind is made like the mind of Christ.
Concerning healing, we look to Him whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing to the soul and, according to His sovereign will, to the body also. Pardon and healing are near of kin. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. So we pray first that you and those you love may know the forgiveness that is in Christ alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and then that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings. We ask the Lord to lay His healing hand upon those with lung infirmities and upon the one with affliction of the heart, and to grant quick healing as seemeth good to His wisdom and mercy. We pray also for the health of those whose names you have entrusted to us, that the Lord would preserve them and strengthen them.
Concerning lustful thoughts, we pray with you for purity, for sanctification is the great separator of Christians from the world. Scripture warns us that when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin, and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. Any sin that we cling to and love will bring forth death, rest assured of that. Yet God will preserve the true believer from the corruption which is in the world through lust, for we are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation. We pray that the Lord would wash your feet from any spots of the world which you have acquired by going along these dusty pathways, and that He would keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things, for He is alive and He is our familiar Friend, and He giveth power to overcome both evil without and impurity within. Seek His face often, let His Word dwell in you richly, and let prayer bring you beneath His cleansing touch.
We commend you to Him who is able to heal, to keep, and to give rest. May you come to Him again tonight before you go to rest, and find that in His service you do rest, as birds that sleep upon the wing. May the Lord grant you quiet sleep, renewed health, healing according to His gracious will, and a pure heart that finds its delight in Christ.
We will continue to pray that you shall both receive rest and find rest in Him, and that the healing leaves of the Tree of Life may be applied to every wound of body and soul, to the glory of our great Physician. Amen.

He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
