We hear your heart cry out in this time of deep struggle, financial strain, and relational pain. You are carrying so much—betrayal, legal battles, family division, and the weight of uncertainty. We stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting each of these burdens to the Lord, who sees all, knows all, and works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).
First, we must address the foundation of your prayer. You close with "Thank you Jesus, amen," and we are grateful you acknowledge Him, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and rose again, reconciling us to God. If any in your family or among those who have wronged you do not know Him, we pray their hearts would be softened to receive His love and truth. Without Christ, there is no true healing, no lasting restoration, and no hope beyond this life. We urge you to continue pointing them to Jesus, not just in prayer, but in your words and actions, that they may see Him in you.
Now, let us lift each of your requests before the Lord with boldness and faith.
Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, asking You to move mightily in their financial situation. You are the God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You. We pray for the release of their funds from the organization holding them. Expose any deceit, corruption, or unjust practices, Lord. Let truth prevail, and let justice be served. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We rebuke the spirit of delay and deception in Jesus' name. If this organization is acting unjustly, we ask You to bring their wrongdoing to light and compel them to act with integrity. Provide our brother/sister with the resources they need for a godly attorney, and grant them wisdom and favor in their upcoming hearing.
We also pray for the sale of their house and the smooth transfer of their car to the new owner. Lord, You know the financial pressure they are under, and we ask You to open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let the sale of the house be swift and fair, and let the car continue to run smoothly for its new owner, reflecting Your faithfulness. May honesty and trust be rebuilt in every transaction and interaction.
Father, the pain of betrayal and the estrangement from their children weighs heavily on their heart. We bring this before You, asking for Your healing touch. You are the Father to the fatherless and the defender of the vulnerable (Psalm 68:5). We pray against any spirit of brainwashing or manipulation that has taken root in their children’s hearts. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to remember the love, care, and biblical foundation they were raised with. "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6). We ask that empathy and respect would be restored in their relationships, and that any lies or distortions would be exposed. Give our brother/sister wisdom in how to navigate the hearing involving their children, and let Your will be done in restoring these precious relationships.
We also lift up the relationships with their family and friends. Lord, You desire unity and love among Your people, but where there is mistreatment, pride, or hardness of heart, we ask for Your conviction. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray for a Damascus road experience for those who have turned away from You or who have hurt our brother/sister. Let their eyes be opened to the truth of Your Word and the reality of their actions. Heal the brokenness in their family, and draw them closer to You and to one another.
For the physical healing needed—gout, sickness, and any other ailments—we declare Your promise: "By His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for complete restoration for our brother/sister, their cousin, and all who are in need of healing. Let them see Your power at work in their lives, that their faith may be strengthened and their testimony may bring glory to Your name.
Father, we also lift up their business ventures—the vending machine and rental businesses. You are the God who gives wisdom and success to those who seek You (Joshua 1:8). Provide the missing parts, the flyers, and the resources needed to get these businesses thriving. Bless their vendors and open doors for new opportunities. We pray for favor in their job applications, that employers would see their value and call them back. Let their phone and mobile data work without interruption, and remove any restrictions from their trading accounts so they can withdraw their funds.
For the new car and place to live, we ask You to provide in Your perfect timing. You know their needs before they even ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to meet them. Let their new home be a place of peace, and their new car a reliable tool for Your purposes.
Finally, Lord, we pray for those who do not yet know You, especially the individuals referenced as "###." Draw them to Yourself, Father. Let them see their need for a Savior and turn from their pride and sin. Soften their hearts to receive Your love and truth. We pray they would cherish their relationships, humbling themselves before You and one another. "God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble" (James 4:6).
We declare over our brother/sister that this season of struggle is not the end of their story. You are making a way where there seems to be no way. You are turning their mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11) and their ashes into beauty (Isaiah 61:3). Strengthen their faith, Lord. Remind them that You are with them, even in the fire (Isaiah 43:2). Let them see Your hand at work in every answered prayer—the laptop charger, the unemployment payment, the extension for the hearing. These are not coincidences; they are Your provision and Your timing.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who is our advocate, our healer, our provider, and our peace. May our brother/sister walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are fighting for them. May they stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to You (2 Chronicles 20:15). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in their life (Philippians 1:6).
Amen.
