Prayer requests

We hear the deep pain, anger, and frustration in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The injustice you have endured is grievous, and the weight of this betrayal has shaken your faith to its core. You have been wronged in a way that has left you financially devastated, emotionally exhausted, and spiritually weary. We stand with you before the throne of God, lifting up every wound, every sleepless night, and every cry of your heart.

First, we must address the sin of the ones who have deceived you. The Bible is clear: *"Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in the power of your hand to do it. Do not say to your neighbor, 'Go, and come again, tomorrow I will give it'—when you have it with you"* (Proverbs 3:27-28). The man and his wife have broken their word, violated trust, and stolen from you—not just money, but peace, security, and hope. Their actions are not just dishonest; they are an abomination before God. *"The getting of treasures by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapor and a snare of death"* (Proverbs 21:6). We rebuke the spirit of deception that has operated through them, and we declare that their schemes will not prosper in the name of Jesus.

Yet we must also speak truth to your heart, for the enemy has used this injustice to plant seeds of bitterness, doubt, and despair. You have cried out, *"Why is God slow in acting?"* and *"How can I believe in a God who does not fight for me?"* Beloved, God’s delay is not denial. The Lord sees every injustice, and His justice is perfect—though it may not come in the way or time we demand. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9). His patience is not weakness; it is mercy. But make no mistake—He *will* judge. *"Vengeance is mine; I will repay, says the Lord"* (Romans 12:19). The wicked will not escape. Their day of reckoning is coming, whether in this life or the next.

You have asked for severe earthly consequences upon them—physical suffering, financial ruin, the loss of their children’s futures. While we understand the cry of your heart, we must caution you: vengeance belongs to God alone. *"Do not say, 'I will repay evil'; wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). Praying for their destruction is not the way of Christ, who taught us to *"love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean you should not seek justice—you *must*. Go to the courts, pursue legal action, and demand what is rightfully yours. The Bible commands, *"Do not deny justice to your poor people in their lawsuits"* (Exodus 23:6). But do not let bitterness take root in your heart. *"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many"* (Hebrews 12:15).

You have also questioned whether honesty is worth it, whether God truly rewards the righteous. Hear this: *"The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him"* (Proverbs 11:1). Your integrity *matters* to God. The enemy wants you to believe that your suffering is in vain, that God has abandoned you. But Jesus Himself said, *"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven"* (Matthew 5:10). Your trials do not mean God has forgotten you; they mean the enemy is furious because you are a child of the Most High. *"For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all"* (2 Corinthians 4:17).

Now, let us pray:

**Heavenly Father,**
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our brother/sister who has been deeply wronged. Lord, You see the injustice, the lies, the theft, and the broken promises. You know the sleepless nights, the financial strain, and the spiritual warfare raging in their life. We ask You, in the mighty name of Jesus, to *move*.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception that has operated through these individuals. We declare that their schemes will not stand, and their ill-gotten gains will be a snare to them. *"The wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous"* (Proverbs 13:22). We ask that You expose every lie, bring every hidden thing to light, and turn their wickedness back upon their own heads. Let them taste the bitterness of their own medicine, Lord, not out of our desire for revenge, but so that they may see the error of their ways and turn to You in repentance.

We pray for *justice*—not just in the courts of men, but in Your courts, O God. You are the Righteous Judge, and we trust You to defend the cause of the oppressed. *"The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6). We ask that You would open doors for legal recourse, that every obstacle would be removed, and that this matter would be resolved swiftly. Provide the funds to cover the interest, Lord, and restore what has been stolen. *"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19).

We also pray for *healing*—for the wounds in their heart, the doubt in their faith, and the anger that threatens to consume them. Father, remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Restore their hope, Lord. Let them see that You have not abandoned them, that You are working even when they cannot see it. *"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope"* (Jeremiah 29:11).

For the other requests—employment for family members, marriage for their loved one, success in the government exam—we declare that Your timing *is* perfect. We ask that You open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide jobs in the public sector, Lord, and let promotions and favor follow. For the marriage, we pray for a godly spouse who will honor You and cherish their family member. *"He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord"* (Proverbs 18:22). For the exam, we ask for clarity, retention, and peace. Let Your hand be upon them as they write, and let the results reflect Your glory.

Father, we also pray for the wicked couple. We do not pray for their destruction, but for their *salvation*. Soften their hearts, Lord. Let them see the weight of their sin and turn to You in repentance. *"Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?"* (Ezekiel 18:23). If they will not repent, then let Your justice fall upon them swiftly, so that others may see and fear.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this trial for *good*. Let this family grow in faith, not shrink from it. Let them become a testimony of Your faithfulness, a light in the darkness. *"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose"* (Romans 8:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, the One who was betrayed, abandoned, and unjustly accused—yet still prayed, *"Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do"* (Luke 23:34). May His grace be their strength, His truth their anchor, and His justice their vindication.

Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We continue to lift you and your family before the Lord, remembering the deep injustice you have endured at the hands of those who betrayed your trust. It is clear that the weight of this burden has tested your faith, your hope, and your peace, and we stand with you in prayer as you navigate this season of waiting and uncertainty.

Father, we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. We pray for the return of what was unjustly taken—whether through the repayment of the house rent owed, the provision of the bank interest, or another means that restores what was lost. We also pray for justice to be served in a way that brings repentance and conviction to the hearts of those who have acted deceitfully. May they come to recognize the gravity of their sin and turn to You in humility.

We lift up the financial strain you are carrying, the sleepless nights, and the mental and emotional toll this has taken on your family. Lord, we ask that You would provide comfort, strength, and clarity in the midst of this storm. Renew their hope in Your faithfulness and remind them that You see their suffering and will not abandon them.

We also continue to pray for the other requests you shared—the provision of stable employment for your family members, the guidance for the marriage of your loved one, and the success of the important government examination. Lord, we ask that You would open doors that no one can shut and provide opportunities that bring stability, purpose, and blessing to their lives.

Father, we know that Your timing is perfect, even when it feels slow to our human understanding. We ask that You would strengthen their faith and help them to trust in Your goodness, even when the path ahead is unclear. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding and find rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider, their Defender, and their Judge.

We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
