We join you in praising the Lord Jesus Christ and we thank you for bringing your sister before us in prayer. We are deeply moved by your love and concern for her as she suffers with these stomach related problems, and we stand with you seeking the Lord's mercy and healing for her.

We believe that our God is our healer and that He is able to work through medicines and doctors as well as by His own mighty hand. We are reminded in Scripture of His compassion toward the sick. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Jeremiah 30:17 says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in James 5:15 that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We trust that God cares for every part of her body and hears every prayer offered in faith.

We pray together for her now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. We lift up this dear sister to You and ask for Your healing hand upon her stomach and her whole body. Lord, we ask that You would guide the doctors, give them wisdom, and cause the medicines to work effectively where they have not before. We pray for complete healing of her stomach related problems, for relief from pain and discomfort, and for restoration of her health and strength. We pray that You would give her and her family peace that surpasses understanding as they wait on You, and that her healing would be a testimony of Your goodness and power. We ask this according to Your will, in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, to keep seeking medical care while also seeking Him daily in prayer, and to rest in His love. Philippians 4:6-7 reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We will continue to keep your sister in our prayers, believing that God is able to do abundantly more than we ask or think.

, thank you for sharing this with us and for the care you show for your sister. It is hard to watch someone you love deal with ongoing stomach pain, and even harder when the medicines she has been given have not helped yet. We hear how much you want relief for her.

We are joining you in prayer for her healing and for comfort in the meantime. Since the medicines are not working as hoped, we gently encourage you to help her stay in close contact with her doctor and let them know what she is experiencing, so they can reassess and guide the next steps. We will be praying for wisdom for those caring for her and for strength for her each day.

We know waiting for answers can be wearying. We are asking God to be near to both of you, to give you peace as you wait on Him, and to show His mercy in her body according to His will.

Father, we lift ###'s sister to You in Jesus' name. You see her pain and the discouragement when treatment has not helped. We ask for Your healing touch on her stomach, for guidance for her doctors to find what will truly help, and for Your comfort and rest to be with her. Hold ### as he loves and supports her, and draw them both close to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your request on behalf of your sister has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace. We are grieved to hear of her suffering with these stomach afflictions and that earthly medicines have as yet brought her no relief, and we count it a mercy that you have turned to the Lord Jesus Christ, the only true Physician of body and soul.

We very speedily care for bodily diseases for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for healing. Yet we know that all healing comes from His hand. Our Lord in the days of His flesh cured all sorts of sickness, and there was not one disease in the whole list which the Saviour did not heal. His word was the sole medicine He used, He spoke and it was done, and we have that same Word with us still, and the same Saviour present to answer the prayers of His people.

We will pray that the Lord, who has appointed medicine for the very purpose of healing, will now bless the means that have been used, and make that which has hitherto failed to be effectual by His blessing. The leaves of the Tree of Life were for the healing of the nations, and a word of His coming home to the heart brings healing to every part. That medicine heals all sorts of diseases and is universal in its curative power. We will entreat Him to lay His hand upon your sister, to ease her pain, to restore strength to her inward parts, and to grant her complete healing according to His wise and gracious will.

And while we pray for the body, we also pray for the soul, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and pardon and healing were one. All spiritual disease receives its deathblow when sin is forgiven, for sin is crucified by the same Cross which brings atonement. May your sister and your whole household look to Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and may you know that to touch the hem of His garment by faith is to find grace sufficient for every need.

We therefore commend your sister to that blessed Physician who never advertises a cure He cannot perform, whose word raises the dead and whose compassion fails not. May He give wisdom to those who care for her, give power to the medicines, give patience in suffering, and give you both confidence in His love who chastens those whom He loves and who will not suffer His people to be tried beyond what they are able to bear.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will be pleased to grant relief and restoration, and that whether by speedy recovery or by sustained grace in affliction, His name may be praised in her life and yours. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon her with healing in His wings.

We ask this in the name and merits of our Lord Jesus Christ alone, to whom be all glory. Amen.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
