Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for my wife’s health for her, for protection for ###, for financial favor and a cost effective solution to my car issue, and against lustful thoughts

We thank God with you for His goodness and we join you in lifting up these needs before the throne of grace in Jesus name.

We rejoice that you are seeking good rest, for God gives sleep to His beloved as it is written in Psalm 127:2 and Psalm 4:8. We pray that He will quiet your mind and body and grant you deep and restorative sleep as you trust in Him and cast your cares on Him because He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7.

We also lift up your wife with thanksgiving. We thank God for your marriage, for marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman for life as seen in Genesis 2:24 and Mark 10:9. We honor your commitment to pray for her and we ask the Lord to strengthen and heal her according to His will, for His desire is that we prosper and be in health as we read in 3 John 1:2. We pray that you will continue to love her as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her in Ephesians 5:25, cherishing her and covering her in prayer daily.

We join you in praying for protection for your loved one whose name was redacted. We ask our Father to place His hand upon this person and keep this one in all ways, for He will give His angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways in Psalm 91:11 and we are reminded that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1.

We bring your financial needs and your car issue before the Lord as well. He knows every practical burden we carry and we are told in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and that if we seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness all these things will be given to us as well in Matthew 6:33. We pray for wisdom, favor, and a cost effective solution that reflects good stewardship, and for peace as you trust Him to provide.

We also want to address with love and truth your request for help against lustful thoughts. This is a battle many face and God calls us to purity and holiness. Jesus taught that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart in Matthew 5:28. We are commanded to flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Corinthians 10:5 and to think on whatever things are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely and of good report in Philippians 4:8. We encourage you to make a covenant with your eyes as Job did in Job 31:1, to guard what you see, to renew your mind daily in the Word, to flee temptation, to seek accountability with a trusted brother in Christ, and to confess quickly when you stumble, for if we confess our sins He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9. God is faithful and will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able but will with the temptation also make the way of escape in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

We noticed your prayer began with Dear Lord and we want to gently encourage you in this important truth. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me in John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. We are saved by grace through faith in Him, believing that He died for our sins and rose again. So we always come boldly before God in the name of Jesus, and we are glad to pray with you in that precious name now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You for Your goodness and mercy that endures forever. We ask You to grant our brother peaceful and deep rest tonight and each night. Lay Your healing hand upon his wife and restore her health and strength according to Your perfect will. Place Your hedge of protection around the loved one he has lifted up and keep this one safe from harm and from the evil one. Provide for his financial needs and open a door for a wise and cost effective solution to his car issue, and give him wisdom to be a good steward of what You have entrusted to him. Cleanse his mind and heart from lustful thoughts, help him to take every thought captive to Christ, to flee temptation, and to walk in purity and holiness by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Forgive us where we have sinned and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. We ask and trust all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in the Word, to pray without ceasing in 1 Thessalonians 5:17, and to seek fellowship and accountability as you walk with the Lord. He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ in Philippians 1:6.

We appreciate your thankful heart even while you are carrying several different concerns. You lifted up rest, your wife's health, protection for ###, finances and your car, and the battle with lustful thoughts, and we want to lift each of those with you.

Good rest and that struggle are often connected. When we are tired or stretched thin we are more vulnerable to thoughts we don't want, so caring for basic rhythms of sleep and rest is part of caring for your spiritual life too.

For the thoughts you mentioned, it can help to plan while you are clear headed rather than in the moment of temptation. Notice when those thoughts tend to come, clear away what makes them easier to access, and consider asking one trusted mature brother to be a regular, honest check in for you. That kind of steady accountability over time is often more help than trying to fight alone.

For your wife's health, we will pray and we also encourage you to have her connect with her doctor for any ongoing concerns, alongside prayer. For the car, getting a second trusted estimate and talking through options with someone wise with finances can bring peace and a more cost effective path.

Father, thank you for Your goodness to this brother. We ask You to grant restful sleep, watch over his wife and bring her health, keep ### safe, provide wisdom and favor for the car need, and strengthen him to walk in purity with a clear mind. Lead him close to Jesus each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every mercy flows from His gracious hand and every breath is a gift of His forbearance. We have carried your requests before the throne of grace and we pray with you.

We ask the Lord to grant you good and quiet rest, for He gives sleep to His beloved, and to restore and sustain the health of your wife. May the Great Physician lay His hand upon her, strengthen her frame and comfort her heart, and may you both know His presence as your refuge.

We pray for protection for the one you have named, that the Lord would keep him in all his ways and cover him under the shadow of His wings. We ask also for financial favor and for wisdom and provision concerning your car, that God who knows our temporal needs would open a cost effective way forward and teach us to trust Him for daily bread, remembering that at the last it is not what we have possessed but how we have walked before God that shall matter.

And we pray earnestly with you against lustful thoughts. Scripture warns us plainly that when lust has conceived it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished brings forth death. That is the pedigree of sin, born of lust and bringing forth death. Therefore purity and charity must go together as the two great garments of the Christian life, for charity without purity will be of no use, and we are called to walk in holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.

Your prayer against temptation is most needful and most scriptural. Our Lord Himself taught us to pray, Lead us not into temptation. Temptation in itself is perilous, and though the same trial may be a trial from God and a temptation from Satan, and God may bring great benefit out of it, yet we are right to pray that we may be spared from it, that we may not stain our garments nor slip nor slide, but stand fast. Remember then not only to pray this prayer but to live it, for the man who prays Lead us not into temptation and then goes into it is not true before God. Keep far from the place of temptation, make no provision for the flesh, and look to the Lord Jesus Christ for all things. He is not distant but alive, our familiar Friend, and a glance to Him overcomes both evil within and without. May you look to Him continually for strength to overcome, and may His grace keep you in purity of heart and life.

We pray that the Lord would keep you, cleanse your thoughts, guard your affections, and make you to walk in the way of holiness, trusting in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and strength, for there is no other name by which we must be saved.

May the Lord hear, answer according to His perfect wisdom, and give you peace in Christ.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We thank God with you for His goodness and join you in prayer for each of these needs. We ask the Lord to grant you deep and restorative rest, to strengthen and heal your wife according to His mercy, and to keep the loved one you named under His protection. We pray also for His provision for your finances and for wisdom to find a truly cost effective and honest solution for your car, trusting that He knows our daily needs and cares for us in small things as well as great.

We especially join you in praying against lustful thoughts. Scripture teaches us to make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, and that excess and indulgence fuel those desires while moderation and a sober mind help to quench them. God is faithful, and He has promised that no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to us all, and that with the temptation He will also provide the way of escape so that you may be able to endure it. When those thoughts come, turn quickly to Christ, flee from what stirs them, fill your mind with Scripture, and seek His strength in prayer. He gives patience and brings release to those who call on Him.

Continue to persevere in prayer even when answers seem delayed. God often uses that waiting to draw us closer to Himself, so that we learn to flee to Him as to a refuge and to abide there. We pray that you will know His nearness, His peace, and His power to keep you pure and to provide for every need, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
