Beloved of All
Dear Lord, thank you for your goodness. I pray for good rest, for my wife’s health for her, for protection for ###, for financial favor and a cost effective solution to my car issue, and against lustful thoughts

We join with you in thanking the Lord for His goodness and we bring your requests before the Father together in Jesus name.

We praise God with you for His mercy and we agree with you for good rest. We pray the Lord will grant you peaceful sleep and renewal as He promises, He gives sleep to his beloved in Psalm 127:2 and I will lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety in Psalm 4:8. Jesus invites us Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest in Matthew 11:28.

We lift up your wife for health and strength. We ask the Lord to touch her body and restore her according to His will, for He is Yahweh who heals you in Exodus 15:26 and I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We pray He will bless her and keep her in all ways.

We also lift up your loved one for protection. We ask the Father to cover this precious one with His hand and keep this one from all harm, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1 and Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul in Psalm 121:7.

We bring your financial needs and the car issue before the Lord. We ask for His favor and wisdom and for a cost effective solution that honors stewardship. We trust His promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:19 and Seek first his Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well in Matthew 6:33. We pray He will provide and guide you to honest and fair help.

We also want to address with love and truth your request against lustful thoughts. We commend you for bringing this struggle into the light, for this is pleasing to God. Scripture is clear that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart in Matthew 5:28. We are called to Flee sexual immorality in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ in 2 Corinthians 10:5. Even within the holy covenant of marriage between a man and a woman, which we affirm and rejoice that you honor with your wife, our minds are to remain pure and faithful. We encourage you to make a covenant with your eyes as Job did in Job 31:1, to guard what you watch and dwell on, to meditate on what is pure and to walk in accountability and prayer. When temptation comes, God is faithful and will with the temptation also make the way of escape in 1 Corinthians 10:13. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness in 1 John 1:9.

We notice you addressed your prayer to Lord and we want to gently encourage you in this. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me in John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation in Romans 10:9. We pray always in the name of Jesus because He is our mediator and our hope.

We pray together now. Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy toward us. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You grant our brother good and peaceful rest, heal and strengthen his wife, place Your protecting hand upon his loved one and keep this one safe, provide for his financial needs and open the door to a fair and cost effective solution for his car, and grant him victory over lustful thoughts by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Cleanse his mind, renew his thoughts, and help him walk in purity and faithfulness within his marriage. Keep him close to You and help him fix his eyes on Jesus. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest list with us. We hear both gratitude and the weight you are carrying right now, wanting real rest, loving your wife well through her health needs, wanting protection for your loved one, facing pressure around your car and finances, and wanting to walk clean before the Lord in your thought life.

We are praying with you for each of these, and we appreciate your openness about the struggle with lustful thoughts. One thing that helps many men is to make a plan while you are strong and clear-headed, not in the moment of temptation. That can mean deciding ahead of time what you will turn to when those thoughts come, clearing away anything that makes you more vulnerable, and inviting one trusted same-sex friend or pastor to ask you how you are doing regularly. Tending to basic rest matters too, when we are exhausted everything feels harder to resist.

We will keep praying for your wife's health and for wisdom and favor with the car repair. Alongside prayer, we encourage you to keep seeking good practical support, a doctor for her health and a trusted mechanic or counselor for the financial decision.

Father, we thank You for this brother and his thankful heart. We ask You to give him deep rest, to watch over his wife and bring healing and strength, to protect his loved one, and to provide a wise and cost-effective way forward for his car and finances. Guard his mind and draw him closer to You, giving him strength to turn from what does not honor You and to walk in purity. Lead him day by day in Your grace. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness, for every good gift comes from His hand and His mercy endures continually.

We bring your requests before the throne of grace together with you. We pray that the Lord will grant you sweet and restoring rest, and that He will watch over your wife and restore and sustain her health according to His tender care. We ask for His protecting hand over your household and over the loved one you named, that He would keep you all in safety under the shadow of His wings.

We also lift up your financial needs and the burden of your car issue before our Father who knows what we have need of before we ask. We pray that He in His providence would grant you favor and open a wise and cost effective path forward, and that you would know His provision and peace as you trust Him.

And we stand with you in your desire for purity and against lustful thoughts. Scripture warns us plainly that when lust has conceived it brings forth sin and sin when it is finished brings forth death, and that purity and charity are the two great garments of the Christian life. Without holiness no man shall see the Lord, yet charity without purity will be of no use. At the same time we are taught to pray, Lead us not into temptation, for though temptation in itself is dangerous, the Lord is able to keep us from staining our garments and to make us stand fast. He does not leave His people in temptation without grace to escape it, and He can deliver us from the mischief of it.

Take encouragement that to be tempted is not itself sin when the soul hates the temptation and looks to Christ for all things. Do not go into temptation, but watch and pray, keep your eyes upon the Lord Jesus who is alive and near as a familiar Friend, and ask Him daily to lead you in the way of holiness. He gives power to overcome, and He delights to answer the prayer for a clean heart.

May the Lord grant you rest, strengthen your wife, guard your home, provide for your needs, and keep you by His grace walking in purity and in love before Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your prayer requests and for beginning with thanksgiving for God's goodness. That is right and good, for every good gift comes from Him and gratitude keeps our hearts steady.

I join you in prayer for these needs. I pray the Lord will grant you deep and restoring rest, that He will heal and strengthen your wife and keep her in health, that He will spread His protection over you and over the one you mentioned, that He will show you financial favor and provide a wise and cost effective solution for your car, and that He will give you victory in the struggle against lustful thoughts.

On that last request, Scripture gives clear hope and clear direction. God is faithful and will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation He will also make the way of escape so that you may be able to endure it. The way of escape is there, and we are called to take it. That is why Scripture says, make no provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts. Lust is fueled when we feed it, through what we look at, what we dwell on, and a life of excess and carelessness. A disciplined life, guarding the eyes and the heart, turning away quickly from what stirs temptation, and filling the mind with what is pure and good, helps starve that flame.

So in practical terms, turn from the image or thought the moment it comes, do not entertain it or make room for it. Bring it to God immediately in prayer, remember that He sees and helps, and replace it with Scripture and with prayer for your wife and for holiness. Keep your body and mind under discipline through rest, self control in food and drink, and steady time in the Word. Do not be troubled as if you are alone in this struggle, for temptations are common to all, and God is at work to bring you through them and to make you stronger.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, thank you for your goodness and mercy that endures. Grant our brother restful sleep and a renewed body and mind. Touch his wife with your healing hand and keep her in health. Place your protection around him and his loved ones. Provide for his financial needs and guide him to an affordable and lasting solution for his car, and give him wisdom in every decision. Give him strength to flee from lustful thoughts, to make no provision for the flesh, and to walk in purity, taking the way of escape you promise. Fill him with your Spirit, with peace and self control, and keep him close to Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this honest prayer request and for beginning with thanksgiving for God's goodness. That is the right place to start, and I join you in thanking Him for His kindness toward you and your family.

I am praying with you for good rest, for your wife's health, for protection over your loved ones, and for the practical need regarding your car and finances. Scripture shows us that there is not a need you have for which God has not made provision and given promises. He is faithful and He cares about both the spiritual and the practical details of your life. Bring these needs to Him with confidence, trusting Him to provide in His way and His timing. Part of faith is learning patience as we wait on Him, and that waiting itself is often where He strengthens us. Ask Him for wisdom for a cost effective solution for the car, and for His provision and favor as you steward what He has given you.

You also mentioned the battle against lustful thoughts, and I want to encourage you directly there. Temptation is common to all of us. To be tempted is not sin. Even Jesus was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin, so He fully understands the pressure you feel and He is able to be merciful and to help you as a high priest who is touched by our weakness.

It helps to understand what temptation is. It is any situation that draws you toward a fleshly response and invites you to step off God's path for the sake of immediate fulfillment. God does not solicit you to evil. That solicitation comes from the enemy and from our own desires when we are drawn away and enticed. The world appeals to us in the same three ways it always has, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, and all of that is passing away. The sin is not in the moment the thought appears. The sin comes when desire is allowed to conceive and you choose to walk after the flesh instead of after the Spirit.

With every temptation God is faithful to provide a way of escape so that you can bear it and not be overcome. He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able with His help, but you must take the escape He provides. That means making a deliberate choice in the moment. You do not have to yield. In Christ you have been made alive to God and you can choose to reckon yourself dead to that old pull and alive to Him.

There are practical ways to take that escape. Starve the flesh rather than feed it, because lust is never satisfied by indulging it. Fill your heart with the Word of God, because Jesus answered every temptation with what is written. When a thought comes, answer it with Scripture and turn your mind toward what is true. Guard what your eyes see and what you allow into your mind, and do not linger on beauty or images that are meant to entice. If you fall, do not stay down, but confess it quickly and receive His forgiveness and cleansing and keep walking in the Spirit, who wars against the flesh.

So let us pray together. Father, thank You for Your goodness. I ask You to grant restful sleep and renewed strength, to touch and strengthen his wife's health, to place Your protection around his family, and to provide wisdom and financial favor for the car need with a solution that is both good and cost effective. And Lord, give power to overcome lustful thoughts, to walk in the Spirit and not fulfill the desires of the flesh, to take the way of escape You provide, and to keep his heart and mind fixed on Christ and on Your Word. Build patience and faith as he waits on You, and let him know the help of Jesus who was tempted as we are and who intercedes for us. In Jesus name, amen.
