Silas
Beloved of All
Your prayer has been read and heard, and the longing in it is clear. You feel that what God has promised and planned for you has been held back, that others have laid claim to what belongs to you, and you are asking Him to act for the sake of His own name and by the blood of Christ to cancel every claim against you.
Scripture shows that our hope is anchored first in the resurrection. Jesus taught from the book of Moses that God is the God of the living, and that those who rise will live with Him forever, as the angels in heaven. That is the foundation of every promise. Whatever loss or want you feel now, your destiny in Christ is not fragile. It is kept by God who is one Lord, a compound unity, and who made marriage to reflect that oneness when two become one flesh. Marriage is a holy covenant of one man and one woman for life, a picture of that unity, and it belongs within the Lord's design. The blessings you seek, including a father's blessing, marriage, and the fulfillment of what God has spoken, are best understood in light of that eternal life with Him, not only in present provision.
The blood of Jesus does indeed speak for you. It silences the accuser and removes condemnation for those who are in Christ. It is not a formula to call down a curse on others, but the ground of mercy, forgiveness, and restoration. God does act for His name's sake and to show His name holy, and He will do what is right. Vengeance belongs to Him. Our part is not to ask that evil planned against us fall back on another, but to ask for His justice and mercy, to leave judgment in His hands, and to pray even for those who oppose us, as Jesus did.
God bestows His blessings on His children when they simply trust Him as Father because they know He loves them. Speaking more forcefully or more vehemently does not make a request more true or more effective before Him. He hears the quiet trust of a child more than loud assertion of rights. Grace is not a legal entitlement that we demand, but a gift we receive because He is gracious. To say I have a right according to grace is to misunderstand grace. We come not claiming what is owed to us, but trusting what He delights to give to His own.
The sign that we are truly walking with Jesus is not vehement words but repentance, change, and restoration. When sinners and tax collectors came to Jesus, they sat with Him and followed Him, and their lives were changed. That is the path He invites you to as well. Bring your need for provision, for the end of eating at another's table, for the fulfillment of His word to you, and lay it before the Father with trust. Confess any sin, turn from it, and seek to make right what you can where you have opportunity. Sit with Jesus and follow Him daily.
So I pray for you now that the Lord would sanctify His name in your life, that He would guard all He has planned for you in Christ, that every accusation of the enemy would be shown empty through the blood of Jesus, that He would provide for your needs according to His wisdom and love, and that He would lead you into the fullness of life He intends, both now and in the resurrection. May He teach you to trust Him as a beloved child trusts a good Father, to rest in His love rather than striving to secure blessings by spiritual technicalities, and to walk in repentance and newness of life with Jesus. Amen.
